yea it is really a shame here, after following many many different group buys off TW and other forums, I have come to see that most all group buys with the few certain exceptions, are all run in an Open Book Style meaning Transparency, the OP and all involved with the collecting of funds the producing of goods and shipping on said paid goods are all 100% open and upfront with all informations like an OPEN BOOK, TRANSPARENCY is the key here.

Let me understand this, snorkels are nowhere near the US and are pending shipping from Australia... If everything does get straightened out ETA is still a month away...

    Yeahh...no.
    Refund because I am out.

Well that's one theory. The trouble is that we don't know wtf is going on, just that we don't have money or snorkels and no one will talk to us about why

I see. You are correct... No snorkel, no status, money gone.
Enough for me to get out.

If anyone has the virtue of waiting, you can have my spot.

There def is, too bad you guys have almost no official news. On a side note, I feel like this thread could be made into a novel with all the events that have taken place.

Shouldn't matter if they paid the fees for business transaction. That's what the 3% is for... paying PayPal to assume the risk.

friends and family payment people (like me) are SOL though.

Well money isn't a problem, but thanks. Lol

Very true. Unless his bank account is linked to his PayPal... Paypal will withdraw from that.

I agree here. I had a transaction where a guy was selling a fraudulent product and tried to state that there was no refunds for it. Paypal clarified that if the seller uses paypal then they are required to have a return policy. Obviously the way this group buy got carried out the paypal rule may not apply since I assume Mahalo had a personal account. But when I went to get my refund, Paypal directly refunded me and said they would force the seller to refund them personally or they would seek immediate legal action and then make their money back and then some. If you paid the 3% and are in the window, I think PP has you covered.

Yes. We could have collectively saved $186 and bought a keg for the install party. Plus there would be snorkels to install.

Too bad they couldn't of concluded this GB before then. Maybe its worth it for someone to enquire about ok4wd to possibly reserving that sale deal for some TW folks in that they could have 50+ orders when this GB eventually concludes.

This guy knows how to install party. Just make sure you don't leave any beer behind when you bolt it up; I bet engines don't like that
