Messy oil change today, when I took off the filter oil spilled all over the skid plate then onto he ground o well.

Also washed, vacuumed, and polished him today.

Still had time to get my nails done, go shopping at bass pro and make it out to drinks with the ladies.

Used #2 grease today to lube the zerks on the drive shaft. I didn't get to the yolks yet but maybe tomorrow.

Grease gun from autozone was a PITA the lever was seized so I used some Hopes #9 and a BFH turns out it was rusted but worked great after that.

I don't get on the forums much, but I wanted to give jagergirll props for an awesome thread! I wish I had known about it when I got started on my front brakes this weekend. I got the passenger side done before hubby and his friend took over so I could go and make everyone some calzones. That drive shaft work may be on the schedule, as I don't think mine has had any love since I've owned it. Got an oil change in the near future too.

    I love my 6-speed!

Just completed a six day trip through and explored Texas and New Mexico. Started off in the home state of Missouri and crashed at a Flying J truck stop in Oklahoma on my way to Texas. My new Reflectix covered the windows well and it was warm and dark in the shell. I used two climbing carabiners and 550 cord to lock the shell at night. Then we drove down to Polo Duro Canyon in Texas. It was beautiful and we saw long horned steers and lots of mule deer. From there we ventured through Roswell, NM and then up to the Taos area. The windmills are going up all over down there and the sunsets were just gorgeous.
HWY 25 had a lot of neat things to see and we took the High Road Byway through Taos to the Grande Gorge where we saw Big Horned Sheep.
My pup Rye enjoyed her first time running off leash without being in an fenced in area. She just seemed to be smiling the whole time.

Overall the trip took 6 days and it was a lot of miles driving to get from one place to the next but the new set up takes less than 10 minutes to set up and take down in the morning. We did not do any cooking on this trip and just ate out when we were hungry or ate things that we brought along. Despite climbing to altitudes of nearly 10,000 feet my little 4 banger taco did well and we did not have any issues keeping up with the speed limit. The new KO2 tires performed flawlessly on this trip. Can't wait for the next one!

This last October I was a day-off wedding coordinator, I used the fiancé's Taco because I bought a fridge to keep my water cold going to and from the venue, (originally purchased for CO/Moab camping trip and worked amazingly), and the amount of estrogen around me hit me in the feels for no reason and had the need to work with my hands. Thankfully my water pump broke on my Jeep later that week and I could collect myself while YouTube mechanic-ing that weekend. I need to find pics to share, all I have are the after celebration beverage.

Been thinking of doing the Palo Duro canyon with the family for a vacation. I know it's awesome beautiful but is there much to do around there? Are there river rides or any other water sports?

We stopped by on the way to CO to stay the night. They have the state park there, I don't recall water activities, mainly because it was only ment for the overnight, but there were amazing hikes, there's a zip line set up for the semi-adventurous type. I do recall the cabins were semi- secluded and had fire rings, which were taken advantage of. They have smooth roads for riding bikes, something that I'll be sure to bring next time I head that way.

I know me and the wife could do that kind of chilling at the cabin around the fire but the kids love swimming and floating Texas rivers. Maybe once they're grown we can take a grown up vacation.
