THIS IS ME CALLING YOU OUT. Youre going to tell me that you blacked out the muj's eyes for opsec, but left his face, name tag, branch, and unit patch so everyone could see? Not to mention you left the american's face, rank, and unit visible? Then there's the fact that the other pictures that you put on here look like shit you googled. I'm not buying your little opsec "i have pictures with too much stuff in them" bullshit. You even said you were just support, so you could have posted a picture of a forklift just chillin at a fob and it would have been fine. Instead you came on here and claimed to be too cool for pictures because youre some snake eater. The one thing I can't stand is when guys lie about the shit they do. Too many guys do thier job and never ask for anything in return. And then someone like you comes along and tarnish thier image by claiming to be more than what they really are.

For all the guys that have already posted pictures in here, it's nice to see your stuff and I dont want anyone else to take my rant to heart except 08trdsport. I dont consider this thread a pissing contest, I just dont like bullshiters.

Too many punks out there saying stuff like this... its the same as those guys that go home and someone asks em how it was over "there" and they say" I dont really want to talk about it" all solemn and shit jsut allowing that person to think they went through and seen some real shit without having to actually lie about it!!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHH I hate people like that, it frustrates me to no end. Rep coming your way bro, good eye!

All it says is "Been Deployed?" so i would say of course you can post in here, keep 'em coming. And i dont think it is said to dod civ/contractors enough but thanks for your service to us. Granted there are some that dont do anything, but we have plenty of those in the army too.

monstertodd, back when 1/6 was there the first time dwyer was a little dump. Matter of fact, they wouldn't even let us in because it was too small, spent 4 days staged outside the wire waiting to push. Now my guys are back over there, I hear alot has changed.

Well damn if that pics is on goog;e I wanna know why since I am the only guy with the pic of my self the the iraqi command0 soldier. If you knew anything if someone see the iraqis face and they are in unifrom it could put their lives in danger. That is why most of them dont tell people in their town what they do and travel in civilians instead of a unfirom back and forth to work.

NO you portrayed yourself as some high speed low drag job. you acted like you were above posting your pics since its OPSEC and made it sound like you were doing secret squirrel shit. dont give the Army boys that do the real stuff a bad name SOLDIER. I got some friends inthe Army and they would probably punk you out RO.

as for your pics, they are appreciated but nothing that hasnt really already been posted. you havent shown us crazy new things secret squirrels see (sense the sarcasm?).

People like you like to lie by omission so that you dont have to say youre lying. youre the type that says "i really dont want to talk about it" jsut to make it sound like the real deal or something. All of your posts made it sound like you were some bad ass and above all this pic posting because it was opsec then you posted those cheesy pics with peoples eyes blacked out and left their whole face to be viewed and then the soldier was just sitting there plain as day! on top of that...those pics were nothing to be calling OPSEC.

Fob layouts....ahhahahahaha youre so funny. you even sound like a little boot. Anyways.... just wanted you to know that if you dont want to have fun with us and post some pics of our deployments then DONT. We dont need the "I'm better than you act". Just sit back and have a good time appreciating others pics. that opsec stuf is bullcrap keep it to yourself!

    gjbonner and mgrande,

    You're tools.

The OPSEC discussion was over before you decided to jump in and beat a dead horse. 08TRD Sport had concerns that were addressed and clarified. He posted up pics, just like all the others in here, that didn't show shit. Which you so elegantly pointed out. And in the next breath missed that that was the fucking point entirely. Who the fuck really cares if he got pics from a team guy he was downrange with (which I doubt) and wanted to contribute to the thread. Sounds like your ego just can't handle anything but complete disclosure.

He didn't omit anything. He's said what he's doing now and what's he's done. How is that omission? Sure as shit there's no way he's going to be posting commo equipment. A National Geographic special on special forces can't show the inside of their HMMWVs, why would he post pics of that equipment here? You want mission details? Why don't we scan copies of sworn statements for you? I don't know why you're butt hurt. Maybe you just realized that your beloved Corps isn't the high speed death machine your recruiter sold you. You're just another DoD employee that wears camo to work. Just like everyone else. Sounds like you're getting caught up in the DD-214 pissing contest. Everyone knows every badge on your shoulder or row on your rack adds an inch to your cock. Seriously, ease up troop.

As far as your attitude towards opsec goes, you sound like the guy that posts up his deployment date in his facebook status. It's no fuckin wonder a guy in a clay hut that wipes with his hand knows when units are changing over. Who cares if its on the SIPR net and marked classified if your friends think it would be cool?

Go watch Full Metal Jacket and stroke it some more. This thread doesn't need you.

Yeah, when I left it was still pretty much a dump. Hardly any roads, no non tactical vehicles to speak of, moon dust up to your shins. It sucked. But there was good chow, laundry, and plenty of places to sleep. We were mostly supporting 1/5 and 2/8 when I was there. Apparently it has been built up quite a bit since then. I know they were moving large numbers of troops in there for the push south.

lol, yeah it's kind of a deployment tradition for me. First day in country I stop shaving or cutting my hair! I try to keep it semi professional though.
