The autos have a tranny cooler? Didn't know that.

It's there - on my tuner anyway. This is what's so frustrating about that tuner, it seems different people are getting different firmware/options.

Anyway - you probably have the BD "stock" supercharger tune installed which is coded to look like the Toyota flash (and may be identical for that matter).

If the tow package is installed - definitely.

As far as I know, the only thing holding back use of the UCON for any 2009+ Tacoma was the wiring harness... which has been released.

    http://urdusa.com/store/Electronics-Plug-N-Play-Harnesses/c66_124/index.html

Which for all of us is a Type G Harness, at the low low tickle your naughty spot price of only $599.

I wonder if that is why Toyota said I had the flash already installed. I know I didn't do any uninstall options.
The truck drives smooth but I don't feel like it has the power that it is supposed to have. When I installed the tune initially, it was stumbling and hesitating like crazy. When I put it back to "stock" in preparation to have Toyota flash it, it lost the hesitation but I don't feel that the power is there. And Daniel, who installed for me, said it is definitely lacking compared to other trucks he has installed them on. I brought it back to him to drive around and he confirmed.
I may try the uninstall option.

Thanks for the info, I was just posting what I've read on here about mounting the O2 that far back and reporting a bit lean. I'll mount mine as you suggested a few inches upstream of the driver side cat. Maybe down the line get another one for the other side.

Maybe try the uninstall option and have the dealer try again.

Ive been considering getting the Toyota scan tool and just paying for the Techstream subscription as needed. I wonder if the aftermarket Techstream subscribers are able to download the TRD supercharger tunes. The Mongoose cable is $500 but over on the Tundra forum they're using a $35 cable.

Yes I read that too. It is the cheap Chinese knockoff cable? IIRC they had lots of problems with the cable though and I thought they had problems with the techstream since they were listed as end users and not a dealer. I will try the uninstall and see what happens. Sounds like I'll be bringing it in again soon enough. I am supposed to get a call from my local dealer.
What really confuses me about all this, is from what I understand, the bullydog was just a tuner, and uploaded a modified tune of your stock ECU to match the aftermarket products that are added to the vehicle. I did not think that it "flashed" the ECU.

So I guess you just load the software onto a laptop, they give you a code to access the site for two days, and you can do all that is necessary? But you need the $500 cable :(

Yes, the official cable is this one.
    http://www.drewtech.com/mongoose/toyota2.html

If you're planning on driving Toyotas for several years, I think the cable would be a good investment.

    Dang TacoCat, that sucks.

Mine is running lean at half throttle, roughly 15.6. A bit more throttle and it instantly richens and takes off. No codes though and otherwise is fine as far as I can tell right now.

Half throttle in boost, max boost, or no boost?

In my experience it'll only throw a lean code if its running really lean continually. Mine pings at times under high gear/low RPM and always has, never thrown a code. Only time it did throw a lean code (P0171) was when the EGR port became uncapped and was causing it to run lean constantly.
