The super cool 10.5" out of the 5.7L Tundras?

...not that I'm aware of, but super curious.

Just been thinking. Could sell my e locker rear axle and replace it with a tundra axle since they're known less likely to grenade like ours with a elocker and 35"+ tires. Thinking to get a rear arb locker and rear tundra axle. I emailed ECGS and seeing what they think would be best to do.

Yeah but no reason unless you blow up the rear.. only people I've known to blow up the rear:
    A) don't know how to wheel and think speed is the answer for everything
    B) keep the rear locked around tight turns and grenade the gears out of their own stupidity
    C) run 37's combined with answer A and/or B

The rear would be 4" wider than the front...

And I thought you want to "eventually" solid axle? So why not just put a 1 ton rear axle in instead and save Money?

Andrew would prefer to not blow anything up. Hence his re-re-doing things he has not yet done.

10.5" rear Tundra diff is same size as a Dana 60.

Older Tundras use smaller diffs that prolly aren't worth the trouble?

I guess if you want to mismatch axles then go for it. But its still 4" wider than our axles, he'd have to run 2" spacers to even it out
