Got email from them today. Sounds like that whole Black Friday Sale thing cleaned 'em out good. If not that, then they are busy boxing stuff up.

He and I were going back and forth in IMs on custom rears for a week before this. But I'm sure we'll get it sorted out.

What kind of skills do you have? Where are you located? And are you looking for temporary work or something full time?

    I am mechanically inclined
    I have handy man knowledge
    I learn quickly
Basically my problem is that most of my work experience was under the table and can't actually call upon a reference

I also was a summer camp counselor so i am technically a "youth development professional"

I am currently in walnut creek
at this point I just need something I'm going insane not having work right now

I do fire alarm, card access, security etc. we do a lot of government jobs and schools. It all pays inside wireman for the most part so for sac my total package is 60 an hour and for most Bay counties I'm at 88 an hour base pay is mid 30s for most guys depending on certs.

You work for Caltrans? My dad is an electrical supervisor out of marysville for them

I work for a Sierra Building Systems
I have my fire life safety card
    Voice data video card
N.I.C.E.T level II soon to be III
    Extron A.V associates
OSHA 30 as well as quite a few product specific certs

The union dictates the prevailing wage so whatever the local pays is what we make on any publics work project. Low voltage is a little different as there aren't very many low voltage union contractors so we get treated better than non union electricians.

It's a town house, I guess I should clarify. Lol.

1100 sq ft 2/1.5 with a detached single car garage. Paid 295k in 12/14. Now worth 355k with paint and new baseboard. :bananadead:

Not a mansion, but with what I have made for an income I'll be doing the property ladder to get where we want. Fortunately what we made was enough to get us the house, which we bought the day we had our first ultrasound confirming our daughter, and allowed Danielle to stay home for 15 months with her and not be making an income.

I am glad we bought when we did. I wouldn't be a homeowner otherwise. Super blessed.
