Thanks! Ya it's not only The "MUTANT TACO" but a "Texas Edition" to boot.

Ya I love the TRD Pro Grille! Paid $374.59 shipped/delivered. I didn't like the shiny black plastic look tho, so I Plasti-dipped it. Probably got 8 coats on it, and I dipped the "TOYOTA" letters with a Dark Gray Plasti-dip. Plus I figured the dip would give it a little extra road rash debris protection.

Takes about 15/20 minutes tops to swap out the grille. Super easy mod! All the mods so far have been easy, well except the skid plate. That thing was heavy for a puny thing like me, trying to hold it in place with on hand while the other hand trying to get the bolt going. Sure is fun and satisfying to do myself.

Again....not disagreeing with you. Just assumed when people say OTD it included those things. I agree it doesn't make sense to show tax since rates will be different but I wanted to be clear about what people were including in the otd number.

All else "isn't equal". If a Doc Fee can differ by hundreds the numbers can't be fairly compared.

I thought I read somewhere that prices (base price) also vary regionally. I could be mistaken about that, but for some reason I seem to remember like in Cali the base price was more for the same exact base model truck vs say New England area or the Southeast area.

If that's the case OTD numbers......what the heck......

    My base price was: $33,770
That's for a 17 TRD 4X4 Sport model Access Cab

Curious to see if there is a difference in Base Prices regionally.

Double cabs are more common so it would be nice to see base prices from DCs from different regions.

My apologies, i didn't add in mudguards and wheel locks as well. So we are the same besides the tonneau cover. I was told at the dealership and by others that the Orange County California / Southern California area doesn't always follow normal car price logic. Basically the dealership can get away with adding on a premium because its a high demand truck in an area with tons of money. I don't know how true that really is but I tend to believe it. I waited 10 weeks for a truck like that to come within 500 miles of me so I pulled the trigger on it. Some people may call me stupid but its what my heart was set on and I wasn't too upset at the price.

    Black Friday deal!

Yesterday I picked up a 2017 DCSB A/T OR in Inferno for 35,340 out the door.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the pin stripes will look like with this color. My silver 2004 held up well.

Last deal fell through, but I've got another lined up that seems even better.

TRD OR DCSB Manual w/ tech package
    Mudguards
    Tow package

    MSRP $37,124
    Dealer Discount: $3,200
    Military rebate: $750
    Sale price: $33,174

Invoice is $34,315, so that's $1,141 under invoice before TTL.

Out the door with everything would be $35,600

Pretty much if you pay around MSRP out the door after everything, you did fine.
