thats a good one too. ive almost hit people driving around in pitch black with not single light on.

Ive deleted my drls but i always turn my fogs on so im that much more easily seen.

are you handy at all? that price is fucken crazy lol. i have seen full elocker axles hub to hub for 700 bucks. Do you have any pics of what they say is "shot"

 

I'm about to install Blitz Pro 6LZ bars on either side of my license plate (flush with the lower bumper valence) and aim them down a bit to use as driving lights. Mostly on dark rural roads (with no one oncoming) but I would try to make it so I can use them around town as well.

 

If you found the brakes on both side saturated with gear oil, you'll need to replace all bearings, seals and brakes. Unless the axles are bent, they do not require replacement.

Some have attempted to do this job at home, on their own to save money, but that has ended up biting them in the ass for some. This job must be done correctly the first time or you end up having to redo it.

 

What bar is that? Or is it the ebay one Monte mentioned in Frank's thread?

 

I would be a little worried about light scatter for oncoming.

I have three mounted as bed/kitchen/camp lights and they are bright AF, but definitely a flood pattern, not focused at all.

Quick question... did you seal yours with silicone? I bought some and plan on running a bead around the lens.

 

I have not and not had any issues. However, they are somewhat protected from driven rain as they are mounted 'underneath' the RTT on the bed rack. So even when they are turned on when its raining, they don't get rained on. Mounting them on the front of the truck would be a different story altogether.

A watt is a watt. That thing is 240w and draws MORE power then your halogen Hellas because it is higher wattage.
