I'll have to re measure because I did it from the ground on accident.

Incoming photo dump and ride home from work trail report :D...took the long way home today, Here I was scoping out Radford rd down into seven oaks trail.Snapchat-1171516033.jpg

Was on 2n10 for most of it. It was a lot deeper in some spots then I expected. Mainly in the gully's with wind drifts. Skyline trail in the summer is way mellow but has Some of the most scenic spots in big bear....Snapchat-574248921.jpg

There was only a few tracks in some spots so it was all pretty fresh still, so made for some interesting fun. Was in 4hi most the way but where it got deep in wind drift spots I did need to put it in 4lo a couple times to get through wind drifts and up the other side with some steeper inclines and hills, as to not spin my tires. Was probably 8-10" in a few spots.

Clarks grade was still open and had a couple tracks through it. With its location I would imagine it to be pretty deep/fresh through there.

With the good snow pack back there it made a usually relatively easy trail a bit more challenging and fun. Freezing balls though as the Santa ana's where whipping up the ridge and up the canyon

Where exactly is the entrance to this trail? I'm planning to go up to big bear Sunday and would like to check out some trails. Hopefully it's nothing too crazy.

You can catch it on the east side if you follow club view drive headed to bear mountain and it turns into 2n10. You definitely need 4wd currently but weather and conditions change fast in the mountains so I'm not sure how it will be by sunday. We are expecting some more flurries on Friday possibly as well but nothing to substantial.

What city are you in? Cleghorn is one of the closest trails for those of us who don't live in the mountains.

That's a nice and easy trail, especially for stock rigs, or for when you wanna do a shakedown run after new mods. The only thing that sucks is that the forest service has essentially shut down access to all the funner, more challenging parts and makes you take the bypass.

I'd probably be down for this if I can get a few things done to the truck. Any idea what trail you guys have in mind or a starting point?

Yaaaaa, was thinking of getting more into that as of lately. Been a little while since I've done a photo gig, @eon_blue what did you typically do when you freelanced?

I was with an agency doing commercial work, a lot of musician portraits for labels and some ad stuff. Doing a full-time commercial gig nowadays for a clothing company.

Freelance was fun while it was good but it's not easy to plan ahead with all the ups and downs. Takes alot and I mean ALOT of hustle.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Right now no ETA to my knowledge. I know he's waiting on parts. I keep a close eye on it 'cause I plan to keep the truck's instagram updated
