Just placed my order for one, I have a note 5 and was wondering where I can find a mount to fit the phone. Looks like on the website you show a mount for one, where can you get that mount? @wileydavis

The mount in the photo is our Perfect Squeeze phone mount. That's what you'd get if you selected the Complete Phone Bundle option for the Un-Holey mount. But you can order it separately here:

    http://www.hondogarage.com/index.php/product/landing/perfect-squeeze-phone-mount

It will fit the Note 5 just fine.

also curious if it will fit the note 5 with a otterbox defender on it. By the video it looks like there is enough width.

Glad you have this up one the site now. The video was really informative. I am pretty sure this is what I want to use as my future mount.

I noticed that your vent shows some wear/scratches. Are they from r&d from lots of on/off or would they show from normal use?

Yeah, those are from one of the first iterations of the mount that had screws that were too long. The final version doesn't do that.

Officially it will fit up to 3.5" width. But if you angle it in you can get something 3.625" wide in there because the posts taper out toward the top.

For those of you scared about the weight. I ran mine with a 2.5lb leveraged up high from the mount and it was fairly solid with that. Around that weight you'd start getting a little flex and I'm not sure I'd want to run that much weight all the time. Current iPads aren't close to that weight.

So how come the whole kit says it's $104 but when you add it to the cart it's $139?

Those numbers are modifications to the price of the dash mount, which is 35. So adding the phone mount, two ram balls and a ram arm ads $104 to the $35 for the dash mount.

@wileydavis I am thinking about this mount but I have a question. My truck is my office. I travel around all day visiting different doctors and such. I often have to pull over into parking lots and jump on conference calls that require me to use my Surface Pro or do other admin shit...sometimes surf Tacomaworld while I eat lunch. Would this be sufficient to mount my Surface Pro to if I am not driving and strictly using it to hold the Tablet while I use a wireless keyboard for entry?

FYI for anyone thinking of ordering this mount...it is LEGIT. Great craftsmanship, perfect fitment and install takes minutes. I ordered the mount and 1 ram ball because I had a Ram Mount X-Grip and 3" arm from a windshield kit which I had previously purchased. Thanks Wiley!
