If you ever upgrade your rims on the Pro.....throw those bronze beadlocks on there, I think it would set it off perfectly!!

 

Haha that would look bad ass, but unfortunately she ain't a fan of those bronze rims. She wants the rims that comes on the Pro 4Runners though. She wants it looking like the Pro 4Runner haha

On another note I finally got done with this Raptor light mod. Took me a while since I made a bracket to hold the lights instead of physically attaching it to the grille b/c I didn't wanna feel sick having to drill into the grille haha. The only thing that I did to the grille was trim off enough to where the middle light would fit in(see pic). At the same time I also installed the Switch-Pro SP8100. That's where I can control the on/off.

I got 3 of these from Amazon. Everything else is miscellaneous on how you'll be installing it your way, ie. wiring, switch etc.


This is what I came up with. Kind of overkill but I wanted something stealthy and stock/clean to look at.

How each light is attached.



Final bracket. You can see the 2 vertical bracket from it that'll attach to 2 existing holes on the grille. If you look closely at the grille, you can see the notch that I trimmed(top, between the Y-O)

Painted it flat black. Installed the wiring with a connector.

With DRL's and fog lights on. Not overly bright but bright enough to be noticeable. Love the way it came out. Subtle but at the same time not to over kill on the light output.

Nice, clean install. Did your shifter surround/cup holder piece come in black or is that something else you did?

Shiiiit!!!....it was unseasonably warm today......40 all day, with 20-30 mph winds, rain all day totaling 1-1.5".....the rain and wind made it feel like it was 30ish......ill take Cali any day.

 

Nah, just a work trip. I'm stuck downtown with all the wind blowing off the lake right onto me. Your town is crazy cold in the winter.

It's too bad you don't get to use your 4WD in the snow ever. Really a waste of such a nice truck.

I bet there is. I will make my way out there eventually and will take you up on that beer!! There are a bunch of guys on here from your immediate area I always seem to chat with. It would be pretty sweet to take a trip and put some faces to names...and trucks.

 

I'm in Huntington Beach a couple times a year. Wife grew up in Santa Barbara and her best friend lives in HB now. I'll be there in a few weeks actually.

 

So jealous of you guys!! It's so beautiful there, I'd live in that area in a heartbeat if I could. I've always been drawn to that area like it's in my blood or something. I always sport my LB hat just cuz I love the hat.....me and the woman at Pearl Jam at wrigley field in august.
