Duplicolor makes a tire dye you can spray on (although its best to remove the wheel to apply so you can protect the wheel).

I have found you have to keep the tires clean or they fade horribly. Scrub those tires every wash.
Also black wheels help them look blacker lolol

Actually after getting black wheels I dont like the shiny tire dressings anymore. Looks odd. So you can go that route ;)

    Is this actually a paint?

Hmm... I have my concerns on this, just doesn't seem like a good idea. Especially if you need to remove the tire from the wheel.

No just remove the wheel so you can properly dress/protect the wheel from any dropping or overspray. its harder to do when its on the truck.

Its a dye not a paint.

I just saw it at Walmart the other day, and if I recall, it was about $7.50. Just checked online, and it dropped to $6.66.

that's way better price than Adams, also Adams is not a spray on application and I think it makes more work buy having to squeeze the Adams onto a foam applicator then apply, then it is to spray on tire then work the product into where you want it

That's what I don't like about most "applicator" tire products. Especially with my Dynapros, the applicator doesn't always get the product into the grooves in the sidewall protectors, so I end up using WAY more product that I should. That Turtle Wax stuff in the OP works great (relatively speaking), but again, I'd prefer to use a spray-on application to get it into the grooves.

exactly, it seems like you use more product because you are trying to fill grooves with the product, whereas a spray you saturate those areas then work it in

Don't need a dye if tires have been cared for properly.

Pick up a cheap paint brush with plastic bristles for product application. Works great for getting in the grooves, etc. You can simply wash it with dish soap every couple applications. Or just toss it and use another one. You can get multi packs of brushes for pretty cheap.
