Not bad for March. Considering our base was only 91 inches at this time last year

image.jpg The snow quality was actually pretty decent today considering it was barely cold enough to snow at lake level.

Snuck in a few laps at the heav before work, didn't get there till 11:30 and still found a bunch of fresh.

@jberry813 how's the weather looking up there?

I went up 3 days last week. The conditions at NS were decent for early season, but it is still early season.

It's cold, but clear. All the resorts are blowing snow.
I'm kind of a snob at this point. If only 1 lift is running, I don't bother. Too many idiots.

Hey Andrew. I actually just bought one on the 18th. Over the past 3.5 years I am now on my 5th vehicle.... don't ask me how, but I am back once again. Are you still out here?

I agree. It was fun going Sunday just because I was able to play with the fluff, but I don't think I will go again until there is another storm that comes in big.

Nice, I picked up a 3rd gen in April too. It's only seen snow twice but so far it seems a lot better in the snow than my 2nd gen was.

I'm still here. Trying to BOP to Hill once I'm eligible in Feb. I'll miss a good chunk of ski season because I got tapped for NCOA in Feb-Mar.

Nice! I took mine up to the snow for the first time this past weekend and was impressed. Lets catch up sometime around here. I work the typical Monday-Friday 0700-1600 now. Shoot me a text sometime - 303.681.1350

Yeah, I moved from my 9 year swing shift career to day shift when my kid started school. No more skiing weekdays before work anymore. I have 4 random weekdays of leave in the book for January though. Then another 8 days before NCOA. Let me know when you are doing any skiing or wheeling.

Anyone on here have recommendations for PSI for some winter trails? I was thinking 10-15 for stock wheels and tires?

I'm on stock size tires, and went down to 20 psi. I had no problems in 12" deep snow.
I also have a TruTrac in the rear. Tires never spun.

I wouldn't go below 15 psi, unless I was alone and could potentially get stuck (which I have done once).

For those of you that live up in the snow full-time or go up frequently enough do you run dedicated snow tires (if so, which tire)? If not, which have you found to perform well in snow/ice conditions?

Also, how much weight do you throw in the bed? If I have the stock tri-fold tonneau cover is that enough or should I put more? Does it need to be at the very back of the bed or is anywhere really sufficient?

Not on my truck, but on the wife's T4R I put on dedicate snow wheels/tires. I put on Bridgestone Blizzak dm-v1 and they are amazing. Best damn snow/ice tire I've used without studs.
The more weight you put towards the back, the better snow handling you'll get. Think 50/50 front to rear weight distribution.
