Yep looks like they are out of the X on their website. Will be interested in fitting these into the high, lows and fogs.

I installed the Opt7s in my highs and lows. My only beef with these lights was all the extra cord and crap hanging behind them. To fix that I bundled up all the extra components, slipped on some 1.5" fabric shrink wrap and tied it underneath some sheet metal. Ideally I'd like to use something other than zip ties, but they'll do for now.

Not on hand, the lows are nothing impressive but the highs seem better than stock. Probably because of the different housings? not really sure why that is.

@ATR55 gotcha. well if you do happen to snap some pics I'd love to see the output on the highs.

Anyone know the difference between the H11 and H11b bulb for HID's?? I've hear the H11b are better used for projectors and the H11 for regular housings...?

H11B are usually vehicle specific and more of a pain in the arse. My wife's Optima has them and the big difference is how they plug in. The light actually turns a 1/4 turn to lock in place but also has 2 spades that turn into the electrical connector at the same time. You can convert H11B to H11 with a little bit of wiring but I wouldn't recommend going the other way seems how there's not a lot of options for bulbs.

H11B for HIDs is only necessary in a projector housing because of the return wire orientation needing to be reversed to prevent shadow. It makes no difference at all for LED, so H11 is what you need.

Can these be ran with DRL/Auto?

I read somewhere (dont remember where) that aftermarket lights should only be used on or off not on auto or DRL. Is this true??

Your DRL lights up the LED strip and not the low beam projectors, so you can keep DRL enabled with them. DRL applied to low beams frequently uses reduced pulse width to reduce light output in halogens which wreaks havoc on LED/HID setups.

Excellent, thank you for the clarification.

Does anyone know if there is a significant color difference between 5000k and 6000k. I'd like to replace the headlights and fogs but it looks like the heads come in 6000k and the fogs come in 5000k.

My google skills show the 6000k in blue and 5000k is white but is it "really" noticable?

Just order two of the headlight bulbs and use a pair for the lows and the others for fogs. Just remember to order the right bulb type depending which bulbs your fogs take (H11 or H16).
