Let's See Your Dogs!!

First time experiencing snow this weekend. He thought it was great!

 

This is Stella. She is a Boston Terrier Brussels Griffon mix.

All European/German blood lines for these Rottweilers. Always wanted one and finally getting the chance to do it! Really excited to get my new little buddy here in about 3 weeks.

I think I just found out what my pug is mixed with

 

Stella looks like she is going to roll her eyes at me and tell me that I'm in the wrong line to renew my license.

A buddy of mine has a pug beagle mix that looks like your dog

 

@Cheese it's my favourite place to take the dogs walking in the city. Unfortunately the high ground in the upper right of those pictures has been sold off by the city for development. Our green spaces are disappearing. For the right price, the city is willing to sell off golf courses and recreational use area. Sad! Hopefully they don't touch the river valley. There's still a creek running through the bottom of it. Shallow enough for all of the dogs to wade, but deep enough for the shepherd to swim. Must think he's a lab the way he takes to water.

By the way, regardless of whether this thread existed or not, I'd still be taking tons of pictures of my dogs. They bring a lot of happiness everyday.

 

Week 4 updated pics! They sent us a video of all the pups as well. They're damn cute, it's a good thing they are all spoken for now or my wife would probably want more of them.

 

Here's my 2 year old lab Phoebe. She's insane but we love her.

 

Your wife sounds like mine. We got ours at the end of April and now she wants to get another one next fall when she completes her LPN training. We went to see ours at 4 weeks and he was the size of a football. By 8 1/2 weeks he was 20lbs. He's now 9 months old and 85lbs. He's still got another 20 - 30lbs to go.

 

I took Christmas photos yesterday of my two.

 

Added a new rescue to the family in October, never posted him here. He is a Weimaraner/Beagle mix, bait dog from down south.

The one on top looks like they're semi-good, but the bottom one looks like they're up to trouble. Also kind of reminds me of the devil dog Mr. Beefy from "Little Nicky"

So true! Coco(top)is pretty good. She doesn't really get into trouble other than the occasional accident by the door when I can't make it home on lunch to let them out. She's about to be 2 years old so she still has puppy energy and is either napping or zooming around the house like a crazy thing trying to get everyone to play with her.

Frank(bottom)is a jerky old man who likes stirring up trouble. He's about 6 years old and he has learned how to open every door in our house, and he loves drinking out of toilets. So I now have two broken toilet lids in our guest bathrooms to replace because his weight against them broke them off where they attach. He also got into the pantry the other day and ate what looked like about 8-10lbs of dog food. He was so full he was miserable and looked like those cartoon dogs who have eaten too much. Just packed full. He pulled the large plastic container we keep the dog food in out of the pantry, into the kitchen, knocked it over and then got the lid off and pigged out. He had dinner before we left and we had only been gone 2 hours so I don't know why he did it other than just because he figured out he could. He has since tried to break into the pantry every day to the point we had to switch the handle around so we could lock it. Well, he also figured out that if he messed with it that lock would flip and he could open the door still. So now I am unlocking my pantry door with a screwdriver while I search for a fix. I'm thinking I will have to move the door handle up the door out if his reach.

He's also great at breaking out of crates/kennels and in the 4 years since we found him he has gone through several. He is the most loving dog but he gets into everything and no amount of toys or walking seems to help. I'm thinking this is why we found him running the streets and nobody claimed him. Oh, and he's terrified of thunderstorms so when the thunder rolls he turns into a 50lb shaking baby and will move our bed from the wall to crawl under it, open the doors until he can get into the closet and hide, or he will dive into our bed and huddle under the covers where he will shake until the storm passes. Nothing comforts him and he often gets so scared he will pee on himself if it's a bad storm. I have tried everything from medication to thunder shirts to help him but nothing does.

All that said, I love them both to death and wouldn't trade them for the world.
