Do Dou Have This Yellow Sticker In Your Door

Hi, Wanted to see if you have this sticker in your door and if you know what Toyota had did that required it? Not much of a reduction.

 

Yes! The Toyota dealer that installed my 4Runner TRD Pro wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/70R17 tires affixed this sticker to my door. They didn't mention it to me but I noticed it the other day! Maybe it's a liability issue for them? Possibly. Four pounds,lol!

 

Doesn't that also count if they add mods that are heavier? IE: add an exhaust that weighs 30 lbs more, load carrying of truck is reduced by 30 lbs etc/

Makes sense but, I didn't realize that they tracked that kind of thing so closely! For example, if my wife drives the truck instead of me, she can tote 50 lbs more!!lol

 

my 2013 AC TRD Sport v6 4x4 6M has that, too. I think it says the capacity is diminished by 10lbs.

 

Mine has it as well - the dealership installed aftermarket wheels and tires.

I don't believe the sticker was put on by the dealer, but it left the factory with it.

 

I had the same sticker. Peeled it off and tossed it.

Well.... that means slim pickings for you at the dinner plate this holiday season. I hear Richard Simmons is in collusion with Toyota, to increase sales of his newest line of videos, "Sweating to load rating".

 

Maybe it has something to do with weight over spec and not with mods.

Like the entire truck, assembled, has an extra 2 lbs over spec.

 

Also who cares.

 

I have the same sticker and my friend's Tacoma (same model as mine) does not have it. The only difference between our trucks is that I have the tow package and he doesn't.
I wonder if the stickers is added to the trucks with the tow package, since the tow hitch and coolers makes the truck weigh more.

 

Yep, my 2016 TRD off road has that sticker

 

I thought the sticker was from a spacer lift. My truck has the sticker and I bought it with the spacers on it.
