They are great, I have driven next to f150 with LEDs and Corolla. They are brighter than the f150 and very similar brightness to the Corolla headlights. Best part there is no delay or warm-up time.

TRS has them on sale at $100 right now

I'm on the fence with them and the HID's, but i'm worried about the HID bulb shake.

I guess i will order the 2 strokes and LED fog's later today, they are doing a 25% off Black friday sale.

I see more sports on the road now than anything else, or maybe it's a coincidence lately. Must have seen at least a dozen this week, but I don't usually drive to work, so IDK.

Anyway, congrats, glad it worked out for you.

My only complaint with the whole purchasing part is the delivery aspect. Takes 3 hours to drive out of the dealer by the time you do all the paperwork, listen to the BS, and wait for the insurance person to show up. Plus someone trying to show you all the features of your new truck that knows absolutely nothing about it.

when I was scoping out trucks at Open Road in Port Moody, I got a sales guy that knew nothing about the trucks...nothing about the features, any news on the trucks...he even thought it was still the old 4.0L engine. Only thing he was good for was getting the keys for the limited they had sitting on the lot so I could look in it and take a test drive.

most dealerships now have insurance people that come in and do the insurance work on the new cars....maybe you were just in between brokers coming in?

    :rofl:Same.

My salesman was going for orientation on the Tacoma the following week. When I saw him again to pick up the truck he said "You were right on a lot of the features"....really??? That was Nov 2015, so I gave him a little slack.

It's always nice when the salesman actually knows what he is talking about.

I fought my desires and ended up getting dedicated winter tires vs running AT's year round. I sold it to myself by saying I'll get the 4Runner TRD rims in the spring for my stock Toyo's :hattip:

Has anyone had luck grabbing them in Canada?

Wait until the new year once they release the TRD Pro 4Runner's for 2017. Then we will be able to bring in the rims again at a lower price.

If these drop to a more reasonable price point I'll be all over them! Right now I can get them to my shipping address in the US for $1100 CDN with exchange and get them put on down there for cheap.

If it's close to that coming from a Candian supplier I will wait for sure.

Cool thanks for the heads up. I just put the winters on my stock sport rims so I won't be needing them till the spring anyways so that's perfect!

Mike, do you have a list of available parts with pricing?

I've talked to my dealer but they want me to give them the exact parts I'm interested in. But like anything I like to compare options and see what's available. Like on the trdparts4u site a lot of members purchase from!

I'm getting Cooper AT/W's put on the stock rims this week. Everything is a compromise, but these Coopers look pretty good, was originally going with Duratracs, but chickened out. I'll see how they hold up. Slapping the factory rubber on Kijiji.

The TRD Pro wheels form the 4Runner? where did you get them. I see that Cochrane Toyota has them for 400 each, but wouldn't mind saving some money and doing a trip South. I wonder what the duty would be to claim?
