    Sounds about right, lol.

Eagerly awaiting an email on a wheel trade I proposed for the Vette. My hopes aren't high, but we will see.

I found a 99 convertible for sale a town over on CL that has my dream wheels, so I offered to trade my wheels plus some cash for them. Of course the first email reply I got said "well they were $3,800 new" so I'm expecting the guy will want $2,000 on top of mine. My argument will be that his car won't be worth any more with his wheels on it, so any cash he gets on top will be cash in his pocket. I was going to see what he asks for and go from there.

Thanks. I haven't heard back since my reply at like 10 this morning, but who knows if the CL email relay will throw my reply into his spam. I hate being easily excitable.

BBS LM, 17x9 / 18x10 with a Vette specific bolt pattern / offset. I guess they're very close to BMW's bolt pattern but ever so slightly different, but Vettes run high offset similar to a Subaru unless you want to play with fitment.

I do like that one a lot! Looks great. So far I've got these:

N-Fab T053RSP-TX - No cutting, reasonable price, comes painted. No fog lights, no winch mount, no hi-lift points. $800ish total
N-Fab T053RSPW-TX - Winch mount, no cutting, comes painted. No fog lights, no hi-lift points. $1100ish total
Brute Force Fab Tube Bumper - Winch mount, reasonable price, LED Fog lights. Needs to be painted, may require cutting. $900ish total
ATO/4xI Hybrid - No cutting, LED Fog lights. Needs to be painted, expensive, and what's with those holes on the font? $1100ish total
Addicted Offroad - Winch mount, LED Fog lights. Expensive, Requires cutting. $1200ish

Currently Brute Force Fab is leading the pack with the best look and lower cost. But if I have to cut to make it fit that's pretty bad. Tough choice.

Movie, he picked it out but we couldn't watch much before his bed time
Don't let the cutting bother you. It is VERY minimal. Only takes a couple of minutes to do

It's more the question of whether or not it would prevent me from returning it to stock if I had to part it out and sell it. And also that I don't have the tools needed.

I have a brute fore plate bumper, only thing I had to cut was the tow hook. if I didn't want to cut it off I could have just notched the bumper. what's great about Billy is that if you ask him to notch it so you won't have to cut it he'd probably do it for you. he's great to deal with like that!.

Morning all. It's always easier to cut someone else's vehicle up versus your own...

Dad's back in the hospital. This time at Yale. Got a call to bring him down yesterday afternoon - stat. Heart surgery tomorrow...
