How's the fishing?

 

I don't ice fish, tried it a few times, just never got into it. I'm into the wait out Winter part of my year. Pretty quiet unless we get a nuisance moose call.

 

We had a Canadian come teach a class for us. He told about his retirement home where he goes out to ice fish. Goes through a bunch of crap in the morning to go out just to catch his two fish limit in about fifteen minutes. Bump that!

 

Good morning, raining here and 34 degrees, right on the border temp wise and some ice in the driveway and truck. Good day to WFH (Work From Home).

Had my second round of PT yesterday still recovering. She told me to stop if it hurts and pain is a warning sign to stop. I told her some of it hurts good if that made sense and she smiled and said that is good and does make sense. And in a month or so will get a lot more of that.

Hi Rob! Hope all is well, sounds like it.

Think I got turned off as a kid to ice fishing. Had to run around making holes in the ice with a hand auger for the men didn't have these fancy powered ones they do now. Sweat and then freeze. We are entering the dead zone soon here with no hunting or fishing, dark when start work and dark when done. The worst time of year.

 

No thanks, you can have your winters. I like the 50 degree, a few days of rain, winters we have.

I spent ONE week in Racine WI, where my Dad grew up. the sky was white, the ground was white and it was coooooold. I couldn't imagine months of that. My cousins would drink, then drive on black ice to go curling.

My biggest issue in winter is shorts or long pants.

Yep, I've got nothing really worth complaining... I just gripe to keep up appearances.

I haven't kept up here, so not sure what you got worked on, but sounds like you're on the mend, hope that continues to go well.
