I have a Diehard Platinum Group 31 that has been a great battery, but I don't think they make them anymore

+1. By far the best $20 $40 I've spent on my truck.

Looks good. I would have taken the extra two minutes to remove the rust from the washer though.
They don't make them anymore because they are pieces of shit. Mine failed within 26 months o_O

Oh sorry $40. I forgot the bulbs weren't sold in pairs. I didn't upgrade the stock wiring as it's not really necessary for the 80/85w bulbs.

I love my Clazzios. That said, I'm a little disappointed that the vinyl is cracking already on my drivers seat. They're not quite 2 years old

I'd love to see a pic with a multimeter connected to the terminals...

Here in Arizona you're LUCKY to get a battery that will last longer than 24 months...
Heat kills batteries. Got one with a 5-year warranty from WallyWorld for 90 bucks. I expect I'll be executing a warranty claim before the end of 2019.

I have the stock battery in my 2012. I would have been smart to replace it last winter when starts were questionable on the colder mornings. But I forgot about it once the weather warmed up and now you guys have reminded me to go shopping for a new one.

Mine was so dead that it couldn't even power the alternator... For a minute I thought my alternator was the issue but decided to put a new battery in to make sure (this was literally a week and a half ago) and after the install it fired up like a champ and the multimeter steady at 13.6VDC.

It was pretty cold here this morning (39Ëš!?!? Brrrr :D ) that made frost on my front window. Zero lag starting it. :bananadance:

Did you mean the accessories? The engine accessory belt drives the alternator, water pump, and power steering pump, and the alternator is what charges the battery...

Yes. Basically the engine was barely moving and started shaking really bad. I was was like, "Oh, f*ck me..." but then revved the engine for a little and it "wound up".
It got me back to my house where I promptly took the battery out and then ran to the store in my other car.

No, I'm not very mechanically inclined, why do you ask?
