Thoughts and prayers to your dad ,you and your family.

Sorry to hear ,it really sucks when you have to do that but you don't want them to suffer, you're doing it because you love her.

Buying 2 plane tickets to Florida for the end of next month so me and Donna can pick up my son and move him back up here!
Very excited, we haven't seen him in a year and a half, he's been clean for a while, has a dog that keeps him motivated and he's been working steadily and is already trying to line up work for when he gets back.

    I plead ignorance, lol.

Ordered a Savage Axis in .223 on Black Friday with my local gun shop. He was running a sale, and Savage had a $50 mail-in rebate, so I'll end up getting it for $225.

    Hope everything goes well.

I'm sorry, she looks like a sweetheart. I've totally lost it every time I've had to part with a dog yet I keep adopting.

Prayers for your dad! I hope the surgery goes well.

Ouch. This never gets easy, I'm sorry.

Well my girlfriend and I are doing gifts early this year, as we will be apart for Christmas and my birthday. I bought her this customized poster with our names in a cute/artistic way and a nice frame for it. It should make a nice gift and I'm very excited to see how she likes it!

She already gave me a customized old timey whiskey bottle that says "Big Mac Distillery" and other personalized things. So now I want to make some kind of habanero infused whiskey for it.

We just got one too! Which one did you get? We ended up with a 75th Anniversary since that was the most basic one that had the options we wanted.

We got a Laredo (Model 'E') or something like that. We aren't big spenders and didn't need leather or the moon roof - but this car comes standard with so many more features than her Murano for the exact same price.

Ah, okay. IIRC the E was the Laredo plus the moonroof, heated seats and heated steering wheel. That was the one we thought we'd get but the local dealer was discounting the 75th down enough that it made sense for us. We had talked about getting the Laredo if the numbers didn't work, but the wife really wanted the roof and we probably would have bought the CX-5 instead. She loves the Jeep though.

Tequila works amazing for a habanero infusion. I've done this many times and it's always a big hit.

I tossed around the idea of a 250 but, when I got serious about research and saw what that pig gets for fuel economy, I ran like hell. The truck I was looking at was a 2016 F150 XLT Sport crew cab with the 2.7 Ecoboost. The small engine had be a little apprehensive with longevity but the deal breaker was knowing that the excise bill would suck in January and I'd have to buy a cap.
Depending on what you bought, @vssman might be excited about it.

No problems with longevity on mine; I've got almost 3000 miles on it now

I'm not sure my concerns are well founded, I just have a mental block seeing 2.7L and knowing the size/weight of what it's going to be charged with moving. It's just over half the size of my current engine!

The snails do make a difference, though.
You can always just go with the 5.0 Coyote again; When I was looking the price difference between the trucks with the 2.7 and the trucks with the 5.0 was pretty close, probably around $500 depending on the options the dealer had checked.

Or just buy a Raptor. The new one has an EB 5.0, I think.

3.5 ecoboost but I'm sure there's nothing eco about it. It's tuned for 465 hp and over 500 lb-ft of torque.
