No worries. First month I had my truck I took it out in the hills in AZ, ripped up my tires and got some scratches off some damn thorn bushes. Tires lasted me 46k miles, though.

Weekend of Jan 14, I do not have it posted anywhere. It's a few members from Beaumont that I wheel with that are on here and we are going. Anyone is welcome.

Well @RelentlessFab has been blowing up! They got a bunch of orders over black friday/cyber monday so they are a little backed up. They told me 8-12 weeks due to it all. However, they recently moved into a larger shop and picked up more staff so lets see what the new staff can do. Never know, maybe they can pump this stuff out and be known for making sweet products in a timely manner.

Yeah if its dry enough i will probably head out to gilmer also. Would really like to get my sliders before then, but i highly doubt it will happen. As long as its not wet and slick out there i should be ok.

I have put my truck on a few trails now and trees always scratch the clear coat. But that shit always buffs out. FYI... if you put water on the scratch and it goes away, but comes back when it dries, then its just a clear coat scratch and is easily repaired.

Yep, got a truck bed tent. Usually just fill the bed with a ton of blankets and call it good and I can finally use all my clothes from Oregon again, haha. Hell, I'd rather be cold than hot / muggy.

I'm not scared of scratches. I just worry about slamming down on my rocker panel/steps and doing some really expensive body damage. I had minor clear coat scratches and put a nice little dent in my steps about a month after I bought my truck. LIke @Zac of all trades even without sliders if it's dry I'll prob go anyway. I can still learn a lot even just watching others in person. I lose perspective I videos.

I'm the same way. I think I would try some easy stuff and just watch others on the more technical sections. Just being there seeing it will go a long way for me.

I'm also want to see why I "need" a lift sooner than later!

Well you only lift your truck to fit bigger tires. Ground clearance comes from bigger tires. So if you want bigger tires then you "need" a lift! haha

Bigger tires may come one day but I expect I'll need a lift initially to counter the added weight I'll be adding for protection/overlanding! I'm ok with the size of my 1" wheel/tire upgrade for now.

That only adds 1/2 inch more of ground clearance
