    I guess i meant, is there a reason you want, specifically, a revolver vs. a semi-auto? Still just to have one?

    I think you mentioned earlier that you wanted to carry it in your truck as well, so I thought a revolver would be a little bulky for that. I'm sure others will chime in.

    If you want small and concealed, I've heard the S&W Bodyguard is good, both in semi and revolver.

    also I think everyone will agree that revolvers handle neglect much better than autos. u can put a revolver in a drawer an come back 10 years and assuming the ammo is still good, it will go bang and do it 5-10 times depending on capacity, where a semi-auto will have most likely dried out and might fire 1 time and might not

    This is very true. Another good reason is that if the first round doesn't fire, all you have to do is keep pulling the trigger until the next one goes off; you don't have to think about clearing the chamber.
