Pretty sure that spacers that mount above the spring plate will only lift the truck by the thickness of the spacer. Spacers that mount between the spring and top plate (preload spacers) will give you twice the lift of the spacer thickness.

I'm too lazy to explain the physics - and I'd probably screw it up anyway.

    Not an overbrander.
There is conflicting information on this out there. I've only seen vendors supply half inch top plate spacers for the inch lift though. Only one way to find out.

Spacers added anywhere in or on top of the coilover will have the same affect on ride height. Ride height increases about twice as much as coilover extension.

My truck with 887's and 10mm spacers above the coilover sits at 22 1/2" from the center of the wheel to the fender. It is very heavy though with steel bumper and winch, steel skids, and steel sliders. I'm a little late to the party but I have 887's, 5100's set at 0 and a CBI steel bumper with a 10.5k winch. The truck handles great on and off road.

I'll soon have an aluminum pelfreybilt and 10k Smittybilt winch - it's good to hear I won't have to upgrade my 887's (I've already upgraded from 885's).

Looking at Aluminess for my 2015 Tacoma prerunner. Is your ride soft? Could you post some pictures? I heard aluminum doesn't take to scratches, dents and abrasions very well. How's your experience?
