I can't find a place to live out here to save my life, everything costs a grand a month and up and ski instructing is about as lucrative as a job at wendys..

I'm pretty fortunate to have a wife that likes to go do that kind of stuff. I'm not sure if we'll get out this winter or not. Mallory's due date is this coming Saturday but she's having contractions tonight. so we got plenty of time for R&R and still hit the slopes a couple times this winter. I con only watch so many videos on YouTube of people out on Colorado before I start getting pissed cuz I'm not there lol

Well, I'd be thrilled to see a familiar face out here and do some skiin' with y'all! Let me know if you decide to head out West, I'll try to meet up with you one of the days you're out here.

Well, getting hired at Jackson Hole as a Ski Instructor is a dream come true, I can't imagine giving up this job anytime soon. I imagine I'll be working here for years to come.

yea im stoked on all the skiing i'll get to do, just freakin the fuck out that i've got no lodging and next week is going to get down below 0.

This place is exorbitantly expensive to live in. I don't have a clue how people do it on instructor's pay...

Friends that I know of that pulled it off either roomed up in an apartment or lived far enough away for a cheaper rate. do you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle? might be handy.

I should be able to swing that. I won't kno for sure until we get closer but as of now I'm down.

@WheelInTheSky i lived in Jackson Hole for a little bit and worked on a cattle ranch. Beautiful place! I'm planning a cross country next December so I'll see if I can add you to one of my stops. Gotta dust off the old skis lol

Okay so...few questions for you guys......Been bothering me for a little while. Hopefully someone has some input.
    1) Low frequency, pulsating hum while driving. Barely hear it at lower speeds but noticeable at higher speeds. Goes away when I put it in neutral and coast at same speeds. (Not tires)
    2) Hit/pop/thunk happens when I feather the pedal. Happens a little when starting out accelerating but happens mostly when I'm at higher speeds - let the rpms fall - and then accelerate again (happens at the beginning of the rpm rise). Can feel it in my feet. Something in differentials maybe?
I'm guessing the first 2 are driveline issues but I dunno.
    3) I'm getting some thunks from the suspension/associated parts since I replaced the coilovers/uca/hubs and took the sway bar off a couple weeks ago. I've re-torque everything. Doesn't always happen.

Any ideas would be helpful. I gotta go take a test. Later

@smithr1730 I want to take a look at your soft topper sometime. get my hands on it. I think that is the direction I want to go.

Have you seen the other Taco, gray, bumper, PIAA/HELLA lights up front? always see him at 315 & 750.

Goose hunt here. what are the mods/parts?

Hum could be cv joints, hubs, bad bearing...

Pops, something is loose, or too tight.

Removed LCA to weld TC cam brackets, mostly it was easy except for one bolt. I didn't want to cut anything so i just used brute force to knock that bolt out - cheaper to replace bolt than LCA or bushings. Dirt does get on these bolts, so either marine grease or anti-seize is a good idea. When i was disconnecting ECU (before welding) i noticed a leaf behind glove box so i check my cabin air filter - last picture
