Yeah I still need exhaust, tail tidy, and some more gear. Really want to upgrade my helmet after last weekend, I have an internal visor which cuts down on forehead impact area in exchange for the visor. Something I wish I would have known before hand

Ah bummer, gotta love waiting on parts. Looks like crown king is seeing snow now so that should be fun

What are your rpms at 70? I gotta regear to keep my trans temps down and 37's are where I'm gonna end up. Might as well gear for them now.

Havnt checked yet, it held cruise at 70 until I got to a big hill but even on 35s it would have downshifted

That's not bad. I usually manually downshift to keep the trans temps down anyways. If you remember next time your on the hey I'd be interested in knowing the rpms

Pretty chilly outside today but have most of the storage/sleeping platform done. Still have to make the drawer, fridge enclosure, and the rear false door.

Alright I jumped on the highway for you. 2300ish rpm, overdrive is like 2600ish. Really windy out right now but it's able to hold 70 in the wind and slight hills, anything bigger it goes into overdrive. Tomorrow I'm going over to a buddy's that's about 45min away so I should have a good idea on MPG

Got the flares back on, rears still need some trimming but driving around town is no issue. Just need to find a decent spot the flex out the rear or stack up some tires

How much did you trim off the front and rear from 35s? Doesn't loook like much.

Our trucks don't really have an overdrive. It's just 5th. The higher rpm is just from the torque converter unlocking;)

Fronts I trimmed an inch, it probably wont be enough. Nothing has been cut in the rear...yet.

No i spent what I had of a day with the drawers unfortunately. Tomorrow after I get these hoops welded ill pull my suspension and check bump/lock. If I had to guess ill need an inch out of the flares, hammer the top of the wheel well, trim the front of the wheel well or hammer if out of the way. Im hoping the rear tucks up into the flare and only needs some of the bedside cut, we will see.

Thats over drive to me hahah, I figured its the same thing or close enough to use the same word haha

yeah yeah yeah, you should really spend that $500 in gas to come wheel with me

Thank you sir. I'm using bushwackers when I cut for 35s this weekend. Trying to gauge a realm of measurement that will work. I was planning on 2" front and rear but what you did not cut bothers me....I had 34" tires and rubbed a lot in the rear on the front side of the fender which leads me to believe cutting out 2" would clear completely.

Sorry to take attention away from those monstrous tires you just put on but there is some relevance.

Are you going to bolt them on? make your holes for bolting them on, with the flare unmounted/bolted pull your suspension and mount the tire and let it rest on the bump stop. From there you should be able to eyeball what needs to be cut and test fit. No sense in cutting more than whats needed, Ive only cut 1.25 or less from the lip on the front flares right now. The rears rubbed in the same place your referring to so I have to taper the cut just like on the front near the bottom but for the rest of the flat I only cut the lip underneath so the tire could tuck up into the flare

Yea I'm bolting, using some rubber spacers between flare and fender. To clear the 34s was cutting 1" front and rear to match. I'd have to at least cut 1.75" to clear the 315s. Was just Looking for more of a <range> to cut and be ok because it'll be a while before I get the tires. I'll just buy one and use it for a clearance tire and go from there. Thanks a lot my dude.

    Battleship looks bae right now.
