Off Roading Sunday January 31 2010

Hey guys, first off THAT TRIP WAS GREAT!!! I really appreciate all the help through the trail and I owe vadik a beer! awesome awesome trip I will definitely be back for another Ialready have a long long wish list of things that need to go on my truck for future rides......
as far as the racial harrassment I figured ide mess with them! I get to the checkpoint and I tell my gf "hey Im gonna get stopped here and the'yre gonna think i kidnapped u and that im smuggling things cus im mexican" hahaha we were laughing and sure enough they stopped me! so then we laugh more and I yelled this is racist! well they obviously didnt like that they made me get out they asked if I HAD A DRIVERS LICENSE

 

I TELL HIM YES OR ELSE I WOULDNT BE DRIVING! and he asks about drugs or illegals in my truck and i tell him we already turned them in! they brought the dogg and he asked if ive ever been arrested i said only once for a dui and he says my name was familiar so i tell him i applied and went through the border patrol process... so the guy looks at me and thinks im fucking with him and he radios to ask if a group of tacomas had turned in 3mexicans!! they tell him they did and after he asks if there was a black one they guys said yeah HE ONLY HAD ONE MUD FLAP!!!! hahahhaah even the bp guys noticed it! anyways the guy was cool after and let me go then asked to see some pics of our trip and said he wants a TACOMA NOW!


GREAT TRIP GUYS! WE SAVED THREE LIVES HAD A LOT OF FUN AND ONLY LOSS ONE MUD FLAP!! Which Justin was right about, and im taking the other off it looks better

 

oh and justin my gf was in love with ur baby... so be carefull next time she might try and still him cus im not having kids any time sooon.... i hope

He went up...and then back down when he realized there was no way he can get over the ruts that were created from the storm.

Which check point? I wont confirm or deny any profiling on their part, but yeah. I usually go thru the one on the old hwy and get back on @ the Sunset Hwy(??Mt. Laguna).

Sucks I couldnt make it looked like fun. We spent most of the afternoon with our lab real sick then several hours at the Animal Hospital, he seems to be doing better right now.

 

checkpoint on i-8... i got nothing aggainst them its just funny it made for a grreat story to end the day!

Locked PR very capable as derek proved today in the mud and slippery terrain

 

i needed the locker! they made it just like the 4x4s derrick made it through everything except one rock and that was because he got the diff stuck on a rock and ended up high centered
