    Lol

I thought you were talking about the camper at first. Was hammered last night and didn't even notice the tree until now.

So it's that bad huh? I was thinking of getting one when I wasn't able to use my stock one with fiberglass fenders because the inner wheel well will be gone - maybe I should spend my funds on some new inner wheel wells that I've seen some guys making out of ABS plastic and skip the "CAI?"

I've noticed absolutely nothing mpg/gain wise since having it on my truck. The heat shield wasn't really designed well enough to be called a "heat shield", there are so many openings for hot air to flow right through it. Haven't had any problems with it at all in regards to the MAF. If I knew any better, I would've spent my money on something else.

Yeah I saw a Mighty Car Mods episode on youtube where they had a car with a CAI and tested out a lot of locations for the filter and the only one that actually had any noticeable horsepower gain was from having the filter on a hose that stuck out through the front of the car and was sitting in front of an industrial size fan to simulate airflow from driving. Not exactly realistic lol so the CAI was mythbusted on that item. At least they look cool! :notsure:

Mufflers and intakes aren't really as awesome as their advertising makes them out to them to be huh? lol Imagine that after every person that tries them out and gets rid of them there's one person to take their place after lol. Gotta love In other news I'm liking the progress on your truck - so what's going to be next on it - any current plans for mods?

I definitely learned my lesson, and I'm glad I did. This was the first vehicle I've ever done anything to, was never really a car guy until my truck.

As for future plans, nothing major, I think I'm pretty much done. Maybe. I do need to install the ECGS bushing though.

That's right you're 4x4 - did you start getting vibrations from the lift?

It's weird cause prior to current suspension, I had a leveling kit that sat pretty much at the same height as it does now, but had no vibes or hums and now I do.
