Mine are installed, but I haven't had time to iron out my fuel delivery issue. As long as I stay out of boost, its pretty much 14-15ish though. I should have time this weekend to mess with it more, but for now my Tacoma is a garage queen.

I like Milwaukee, but since all my work tools are DeWalt, I thought it best to have some continuity.

Haha. When I first got my impact, I used it to install my suspension so I had an immediate fix. It's a nice feeling fearing no bolt.

I could have used it it the other day, when I had to do a pit stop tire change after blowing 7 bolts of my bead lock. lol This is the damage that resulted. Yes, the ring is bent. Thanx to @jt@bajakits.com for getting me replacement. Ordered 6 just incase I need more lol. The damage-20161129_203953.jpg

Holy crap. I'm glad nothing worse happened.

I've been toying with the idea of keeping a small impact in the truck for roadside emergencies like that.

I programmed my Scangauge to read AFR from the factory O2 sensors so take the data FWIW.

3" pulley, AFE pro-dry filter, no other mods. Under full boost I'm reading a consistent 11.9. No mid-throttle lean conditions noted.

Why are we buying AFR gauges then?
The BD apparently wont read the factory sensors since it displays 8 all the time.

Because aftermarket gauge pods are bro-fresh :anonymous:

I didn't write the code and cannot guarantee its accuracy - but it appears to be reading correctly, and values are what I would expect them to be for my setup (WOT = 11.9, closed loop AFR = 14.7 as expected).

Here's the Xgauge code I used:

    Code:
    Air to Fuel Ratio (Lambda)
    TXD: 07E02144
    RXF: 04614544
    RXD: 2808
    MTH: 006400800000
    NAM: AFR

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Actually our trucks have wraf sensors. I think 11.9 is as "rich" as it can display. In reality I bet you're closer to 11 or even in the tens. Too rich and you're losing power.
Aftermarket gauges are bro- fresh because race truck and they give usefully information . Also, I ordered without the bd tuner cause I have the ucon ems. I am running the plx afr-sm so I had to weld a bung in my header for the LSU 4.9.

I've seen it dip below 11.9 - it does max out at 17.9 under coast, as expected but I don't think 11.9 is its lower bound.

As long as I can detect lean conditions and avoid grenading my engine, I'm good with the Scangauge. YMMV. Since I'm not going down the rabbit hole of pulleys, CAIs, MAF cals and custom tunes my needs are simple.

Yeah the Sears by my place has this one for 159.99. It is very similar to the one I just bought except it doesn't have a speed selecter and it has a hog ring anvil as opposed to the Detent pin mine has. Imageresizer.jpg

On my UltraGauge there is a lambda display. It maxes out at 1.223. I've never seen how low it will go, but assuming it has the same amount of swing in both directions:

    14.7*0.223=3.2781
    14.7-3.2781=11.4219
    14.7+3.2781=17.9781

If this is correct, then basically 11.4-18.0 AFR is about what you can expect to be able to read off of the factory ECU and sensors.

For some reason the inline fuse for the water pump on mine measured as an open, had to install my own inline fuse. If your pump isn't working look there first.
