JerryTaco Sounds good. I'll be excited to see it when it's all hooked up. I just ordered a TRD Pro grille and I like where you're putting the light.

Yea, I just cant decide if I want to do just LED bulbs for now to match or if I want to just order the Rigid Inustries D2 driving kit

wife already green lighted lift, wheels, and tires w/ tax returns.... eventually I'm sure I'll be done..... or I'll run out of money

Check out @tubbsisland 's build. He works for SDHQ and is running all of their product on his truck. His setup is beyond sick!!

I can attest for the Auxbeam f16 series led bulbs.... they literally cut off at the exact beam that my OEM halogens did so zero traffic blinding, and yes there is a noticeable difference when driving at night.

combo led headlights and led fogs and it's a night and day difference.

My curiosity needs to know. Any rubbing at all with these on the stock suspension?

Thank's for the info. I was a bit surprised new vehicles aren't coming equipped with LED's given their longevity and more solid beam. It's an easy decision to upgrade and it sounds like there are a few good options out there.

I don't see nothing wrong with the headlights that Toyota put on my truck. Guess I'm not to picky.

Coming from a Wrangler JK, the Tacoma headlights are amazing! (Upgraded to OPT7 LEDs as well.)

Unless you are changing the headlight housing, the stock Light housing will cast the same beam with Halogen or LED bulbs. It's the prism that shapes the beam. Maintaining correct light alignment will ensure the beam shines correctly for height and distance. The brightness of a bulb won't throw it higher and blind oncoming traffic. Many trucks with lifts end up blinding oncoming traffic when the headlights aren't refocused even when they use the standard bulbs. And don't get me started about those with light bars and use them on the street day or night!

Drive pretty much any car with OEM HIDS and then go back to the tacoma. They suck.

Oh i agree.... As soon as I get my lift kit on my Taco, I'll be getting the headlights aligned ASAP.

and bros that leave their light bars on while on the road = douches

Hey JKcashin, did you install HAM for practical reasons or because you're an enthusiast? I was looking into CB/HAM and from what I've read it seems that CB is more practical on the highway and HAM more practical out in the middle of nowhere if you have to ask for help. But I have a Delorme satellite communicator for that, so I'm just curious as to why people go with HAM.

Man, those mudflats look sweet. I assume they have some flex to them, unlike the ones from Toyota? I already ripped one off backing up because it was just rigid plastic.
