Just did something small today and installed my Pelfreybilt bumper...

Installed an HID Plus Canbus kit in my headlights, and HID Plus kit in my fog lights. Both are 5500K, which is the closest to pure white that I could get from DDMTuning.

Also did a full LED swap - map and dome interior lights, license plate lights, and reverse lights as well. They came out really nice. I hate the yellow halogen bulbs that come on stock trucks. Tip to get the map light bulbs out, use a set of pliers to grab the bulb. It's damn near impossible to grab them out using your fingers since they are so far lodged in there. The pliers made it easy to pop them out in 2 seconds.

 

Haven't seen one of these things in 20 years, that's serious old school right there. Be very careful, you can't ground the ignition system to kill it in new vehicles like you could on old vehicles which this was designed for.

 

Finally got her cleaned and all debaged

Picked him up Monday, November 21st got him out on the trails and into the snow last weekend. installing some color matched letting in the glovebox tonight! I'll update this if I can tonight!

Okay guys and gals -- I'm getting ready to install my lift and such. I'm looking for opinions [and fact, more importantly] about tire sizes. I'm looking at either 255/85/16s or 285/75/16s on the stock TRD OR wheels. Looking at the Dick Cepek Extreme Country series.

I've got an Icon Stage 4 lift with Total Chaos UCAs, and I'm really trying to avoid a cab mount chop. Any thoughts?

Also, my goodies arrived today.

 

I don't have the same set up however I am lifted 3" with OEM 16X7 wheels, 285/75/16 tires, 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers which you'll also need, and I do not rub on the cab mount. With that said, I've never stuffed the tires off road so I can't say for sure that it won't rub but street driving on crappy NY roads which mas as well be off road lol it does great.
