Table rest with a bipod and mono pod and shooting my savage .308 using 150 grain ammo

Those 3 rds on the far right were a different grain round , was trying 168 super x

Just looked at my DOPE book and there was a 15mph left /right breeze at the target and had to compensate for it

LOL. I am more into the classic rock with classic sound, including classical music and Jazz. Denon amp with Polk tower speakers that move a lot of air for that classical 70's sound. With a Velodyne sub set to musical instead of the high bass that many like nowdays. Bags of 25 lb. shot for vibration isolation between the sub and front towers.

Perfect for the kettle drums when listening to Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Zepplin, Rush, OK even Journey for the soft side. And of course Heart. At reference level preferable.

Agree with the bullet out of an AR inside a domestic dwelling especially with neighbors so close. Even with hollow points which the reloading manuals describe as "not suitable for edible game due to excessive tissue destruction". Personally have a shotgun handy with 9 shot for the first shot, and move up from there in shot size to a slug for the last shot. But if I need that there is some real trouble.

Shot the 45 for many years in the Navy and earned my Expert pistol ribbon with one shooting 3 years in a row to qualify, resisted the conversion to 9mm and was one of the last hold outs. But grew up with wheel guns. Had one of the original Dan Wessons in the early 80's with interchangeable barrels and had the full kit. Selling it was one of the dumbest moves I ever made. Made a fair amount of money on the deal but really regret it. Still like my wheels guns and shoot them well. Both S&W have been back to the factory for custom tuning. The Ruger has been tuned by a custom smith.

An original Dan before the merger with CZ, very nice. My Dan came after the acquisition.

We usually hit the ranges during winter...too damn hot in summer. We'll hit it a couple 3-4 times. My youngest will be home the 17th thru Jan 2 so we'll hit it a couple times while he's here. I need a decent spotting scope.

I am upgrading too with these. They are still in the box awaiting our media cabinet to be delivered. The receiver started out at $399, then dropped to $199. So we were able to get BestBuy to honor the new price and give us a refund. I may add two more monitors later, but I don't know. Our room is small. I'll be doing a rewire with better cable, so it's going to be an all day project.

that's probably a smart thing. idk if we have any tests but have owned guns for so long i'd be grandfathered. here if you've never had a hunting license you have to take the hunter safety course before you can get one unless, like me, i had a licenses since before they made it a law

Hunter safety or a military id will get you legal. I still show them my very first hunting license from 1976.
