Good Morning Chris. @Casper66 Wanted share these 2nd Gen Pillar mounts with you. I went with these because there's no trimming, and I like the location that the light will be at. More expensive than the others but it's also a beefier Bracket. Have a Good Friday.

I didn’t know how popular the Mal’s were becoming in the Service as well. I was on a flight from Afghanistan to Kuwait and had one next to me. He decided my lap was a comfortable place to lie across. What great temperaments.

If I may chime in a little on this topic of self defense and home use of a firearm from some personal experience:

When using a weapon for self defense there is so much to learn observe and understand. I remember when I called 911 for a home invasion (I didn't do the shooting) but I was 100% part of the investigation since I witnessed the shooting and was on the phone with 911...

First two dirt bags 22 and 19 broke into the house from a sliding patio door and awoke myself and the other person after both of us retrieved our weapons and made sure all other people were safe in one room (wife and girlfriend).

I got on the phone with 911 shooting had already took place about 4 seconds before the call. I told 911 to send an Ambulance to my location she asked why, I said I have someone who has blood pressure issues his pressure is dropping fast can you send an ambulance please.(showing my concern for the victim) she asked again what was the blood pressure issue I said he has 4 holes in him can you send an ambulance please(showing my concern for the victim). the operator asked what kind of holes I said bullet holes as he tried to attack and do harm to us and we had to defend ourselves with deadly force he was shot can you send an ambulance please(showing my concern for the victim). I then told the 911 operator I had to go and secure my house for the safety mine and others from possible others in the house. I didn't want to have any further conversation with 911 at that point. We cleared and secured the house I then called back 911 and told them house and occupants were secure will be at front door for LE arrival. Law enforcement arrived on scene Ambulance soon followed but was too late one dirt bag died at the scene the other was found about 4 hrs later at the hospital with lacerations from glass as he actually ran through the sliding glass door and one minor bullet wound from a ricochet they suspect. This whole thing took less then about 4 minutes from time estimates gathered by investigators. What a legal nightmare this was for about a year of our lives....

When cops showed up we told them that someone had broke into the house as you can see(broken glass/screw driver and a crow bar) we had to defend ourselves with deadly force. That was all we said and told them and we will have no further statements until we have legal representation.

 

I'll have to look tonight. Idk if has those options. Like I have no option for Sirius or anything. Basically am/fm, cd, Bluetooth, and MP3
