    Question for y'all: When I do start ordering skids and sliders, do I want to get them coated? I was planning to get Line-X on the sliders but not sure about the skids. I was thinking just spraying them black since they will most likely get damaged often and I can touch up myself.

    Clean em good, alcohol, acetone, or mineral spirits. Prime em with a good quality automotive primer. Then coat them however, rhino line, rubber under coat, flat enamel, or however, three to four times.

    I highly recommend Line-X for parts that get bumped, that stuff takes a good beating. Scraped my sliders a few times and you still don't see it.

    Line-X isn't cheap though......

    Ah, good job. I've got to figure out why my bed is tweaked. Obviously the spare tire being loose may have been a tell tale sign that there was an issue. Gotta pit the frame on stands and get the level out and check that the frame isnt tweaked.
