See I've been doing that with my Girlfriend, but it backfires because all my shit is sitting in a pile behind the couch. She reminds me daily I need to get it out of the apartment haha.

I first got those bro tires on a 1965 Scout. 31x10.50x15. That was in 1991, so I'm not sure what they were called back then... I like them. Had them on 6 different vehicles in 4 different sizes. Super predictable, durable, and never had an issue with traction. If they were offered in a 255/85-16, I'd have them on the Tacoma now. Don't really like the other AT's, so I just fuck it and went with MT's. Fortunate that it's not my DD so I can be irrational like that. ;)

    Favorite size: 33 x 9.5 x 15. Stuck them on a 5-speed 1991 Montero with V6 and stock 4.6:1 gears. Damn near perfect.

Silt. It's like powder and super deep. Luckily one of the bikes I was on has a really nice steering damper. The other did not. We were following a lot of this year's Baja 1000 course so it was super loose sand and lots and lots of silt.

The trick is to go fast and whenever the bike starts to wobble just pin it for a second. The problem is at night you quickly outrun your headlights. I actually like loose sand after figuring it out.

Edit: That's me last week some where south of El Rosario in the silt. I think I was going like 3mph, 1st gear at like 5000 RPM's.

Even on tread depot? I paid $910 for mine and they're 35s. I like my STMAXX over my previous AT2 in all situations I've put mine in.

Was it longer to go 156 to 152 to 5? Seems like it would be faster than going through the Bay Area gauntlet.

They just work. Put my first set of KOs in 31x10.5x15 on my 2000 S-10 Blazer, the version with the G80 (gov-bomb) locking rear diff. Miss that thing, so I still buy the tires.

I was looking at the X3's, I was really looking at those and the Toyo MT, price was close, but both were heavy in 315!

I only mall, so these get me to Banana Rebublic just fine.
