What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Pretty easy. I already had aftermarket ucas so all I did was swap the coil overs. Took about 3 hours and that's including adjusting ride height, test driving, adjusting again, adjusting ucas, and beer drinking

 

Has anyone removed the center console before? Where the gear shift is located. I'm trying to pop off that top part but I'm not sure if it just pops off or there are screws located somewhere.

 

Do you know what the offset is on those factory wheels?

 

Yea my dog looks like he is about to pass out in that picture... just spent 2 hrs chasing deer and pig through the woods like a crazy man.

I went with Bilsteins all around, OME 887s, and a 3 leaf AAL from Headstrong. To push the wheels out a bit I added 1.25" spidertrax spacers. Tires are 285/70/17 BFG KO2s. No rubbing

*** EDIT *** To answer multiple questions... Stock UCAs (was easily able to align within factory specs) Bilsteins set at 0. All items purchased through Headstrong Offroad. Zero vibration or problems even at 75+ mph highways speeds

Husky floor mats. Perfect fit and the mat is made with soft rubber. Getting ready for the slush, sand, salt and snow that comes with winter. Blah!

Nice setup! Did you install UCAs as well? How is the ride in the rear with AAL?

 

No I did not install the UCAs. I was told (correctly) that unless you go 2.5" or higher you really do not need upgraded UCAs. I was easily able to align within factory specs with stock UCAs. Rear seems a little stiffer, but I haven't put on enough miles to give a strong opinion

Did you tint your tail lights or get a different cover rather than the stock tail lights that come on the truck?

 

Wanted some bed bars from relentless but shipping too hawaii was more then the bars itself. So me and my pops decided to make some for his 83 and my 16 using uni-strut instead.
