I was trying to explain as nicely as I could that their price on the ditch brackets are double the price of Relentless or CBI's (I never used the names of the other companies through, that would be mean). They are trying to say but theirs is american made and high quality. I explained that the other ones I was talking about were also american made and by vendors here that I know and trust. I wasn't trying to but I'm sure I pissed them off.

Well, as they say - there's one in every crowd. I guess the ratio of "dicks" to males is greater than 1... (just kidding around you know)

YES! That sounds awesome. FJ transfer case, doubler, and a SAS would be nice too. Hope your dad is ok.

Need to get the frame back, cut the back off and move the axle forward for a buggy like those airport trucks. I always thought that would make an interesting plow truck for driveways & tight spots. Be good for a boat yaaaard (as you easterners say) too.

Several years ago when my uncle had a whaler, the yaahd called. My aunt answered and the guy on the phone said his name was dawn. So she yelled to my uncle that "dawn" is on the line. Come to find out the guys name is Don...

Short wheelbase is really handy for maneuverability purposes, but sucks for pushing a heavy snowfall. The shorter the wheelbase the easier it is for the truck to get pushed around by the plow angle.

Edit- Plowed with a CJ5 for a while back in high school, and it was awesome for maneuvering a tight spot, but every time you hit a bank with it she'd skitter the rear wheels over a foot or two

Very true. It'd be useful for tight driveways. A relative had a CJ5 which was great in older city type spots.

Sometimes. Mostly when I get to work after a snow storm and the company that's supposed to plow our lot out hasn't been there yet, lol. When that happens I'll drop the plow and sweep a lane in, hit the parking spots and sweep a lane out. Then they can clean it up and do the full parking lot area when they get around to it. I've also done it a few times leaving in the evening, if it's storming. They don't plow our lot until the storm is done, so it's a regular occurrence for us to have a foot of snow in the parking lot after work when it's stormed all day. I'll sweep through in front of where everybody's parked so they can get out of their spots, then plow a path out to the main road and all of my 2wd coworkers just follow along behind me, haha.

Well I know there is the star wheel and the adjustment window just like all other drum brakes. Bring it over and we can check the condition and adjust them if you have the meat on your shoes.

Dad just got out of surgery. 2 1/2 extra hours and now is in critical condition. 8:30 - 4... It's up to him now to pull through. Still waiting for him to wake up.

Edit: thanks for the support and helping me through this
