What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Why would you post a picture new Silverado on a Tacoma site telling everybody how great it is. Show a little class and posted on the Silverado site. I guess I should go over to the Silverado site and show him my new Tacoma and how great it is. I'm sure nobody over there would say anything right. If you read earlier on I did congratulate him on his truck.

 

I ordered it Monday of this week. Guess they sold out?

 

I also have owned three Silverados with nothing but trouble. So I get to have the bitterness about Silverados. I earned it with three of them going down the drain

 

Just saying be the bigger person. Way too much hate and name calling, crap in the world. I'm far from perfect, just hate the way TW gets sometimes.

 

I spent over $120,000 and for years on Silverados. But nothing but trouble on all three vehicles. So I reserve the right to b**** about anything I want. And I bet you would too if you spent that much money

 

I bought a 14 by mistake after 3 tacomas, traded after 5 months of ownership back to a tacoma lol.

 

I was told at the dealership that's the way Chevy trucks run you bought it that's the way it is you have to live with it. Someone saying something like that to you. I jumped in my truck. And went and bought a Toyota Tacoma. The owner of the Chevy dealership was at my work today. He was apologizing up and down for the behavior that is employees gave me. He didn't know I went and bought a Tacoma. I told him you lost out on me buying a Corvette from him

 

It's all good- I could care a less. I can almost see the spiddle and foam coming out of his mouth, lol.

In OTHER topics- If my daughter decides to take my trail rig- the 1998 Jeep Cherokee, off to college in a few years, then I may be getting another Toyota as a dedicated trail beater..But it's more than likely gonna be a solid axle 1985 truck. Manual with a 22RE. Made in a time when their trucks rode like trucks and were a little easier to repair at home.

Decided to try out a set of Morimoto 2Strokes. Have a set of Opt7s for fogs right now. Probably switch em for XBs in the future. Decent output on both. Crappy cell pics tho..

I purchased my truck on September 29th. I have done a lot of things to it. This week: Painted brake calipers and rear drums; de-badged; plasti-dipped grill; TRD-PRO gear shift with red letter inserts; door sills with red letter inserts; dash letters in red; Toyo Open Country ATII tires; Optix Quantum LED headlights & foglights; and hopkins insight brake controller. I installed TACOMA graphics last week; $44. Having a lot of fun making mods. Gonna do a carbon graphite dash trim ring; console light; hood light; engine cover; leather kit (in the way future) and undercoating.

 

All that pent up anger needs to be taken out on the trails. Really, he didn't say anything bad about the Tacoma, just that he needed a bigger truck. I think more than anything, he is deep down going to miss his Tacoma family hear in the end. So good luck to you and your new ride. So long, and God bless.
