The shop I went to though doesn't care. The guy who aligned my truck has a jeep and we were talking about rock crawling and shit. Just depends on where you go.

 

People are fucking shitty. I had tips dropped off at the hotel I worked valet at and someone stole them. 60 bucks just gone. Waste of a shift I worked. I hate people.

Get your employer to reimburse you. I know that sounds silly, but it works. One thing businesses never want their current employees to find out is that complaining that they don't take care of you and protect you to the BBB can seriously FUCK them hard. As a current employee you have the power to get them audited. If you go and have a polite but firm conversation with a higher-up you may be handed $60 by them.

In the next couple months I'll have my headlights and grille available. Headlights could use a lot of work...as could the grille. But if you need them they're yours.

 

I'll see what I can do. The company I work(ed) for has super shitty management all around. I only work there like once a month. I'll probably call my manager up that people are stealing from there. That shits fucked

 

The double-edged sword of tips is that they are technically the property of your employer. I've had past employers steal my tips from me.... feels horrible. The fact that the tips were stolen before you touched them means that your employer was stolen from. You have serious wiggle room here. Depending on how much you want to keep that job you can pretty well put the pressure on them to pay you what you are owed. From your point of view, it doesn't matter that your employer was stolen from, they can take that up with law enforcement if they so choose. If they wan to keep you as an employee, make it clear that you expect your damn money up front. Don't bend over unless you want to get bent over.

 

Anyone in and or around HB do any welding for a fair and reasonable price of some booze and pizza of your choice?

 

The issue with that is that like I said I only work there once a month and at a different location than where the tips were stolen from. I've got a full time job and work valet every now and then when someone needs a weekend cover at the restaurant. So Im pretty much SOL with it cuz my manager won't do anything. That guys a complete idiot lol.
