    Hit chest and arms today. The free ON pre-workout that came with my last purchase at Vitamin Shoppe has creatine in it, but it doesn't feel like it has any caffeine. I think I'll go back to their Amino Energy once the free one is gone. On a side note, I'd forgotten how much stronger I am when I am taking creatine. I was told by my spotter that there were a couple ladies swooning watching me workout. Maybe I should continue with the creatine, lol

    Deficit deadlifts are going to be the new go to for the next 3-4 weeks. Did them tonight and worked up to 335. Every time I fail, it's at the initial pull. If i can get it halfway up my shin, I can lock it out. So, deficits are going to be my new best friend for a while.

    You're right. I'm a bit of a bitch :pout:

    Got 225x10 so I threw 300 on. The first attempt I held it way too long before I dropped it and completely psyched myself out and only got it about 1/3. Tried it again about 5min later much quicker and got it over 1/2 way but couldn't lock out. If I hadn't psyched myself out on my first rep I would've gotten it:frusty:. Next week, no excuses...

    I did a few sets of 3-4 at 245 after that and then did a few sets of pin press to beat this sticking point. I may do another round of pin press on Thursday or Saturday depending on how I feel just to get another set in before I try 300 again next Tuesday...

    So I did some pushing yesterday, bench I did 3x5 @225. Warm up was 135x 10, then 185x9. I think I might be getting stronger. Last week I did 225x4 then did 1 rep of 245. I think I can get 265. Maybe next week. Slow and steady.

    Do you guys work off of percentages? Or just throw on random weights?

    I used to work off of percentages all the time. Lately I've found myself just throwing weights on and not really having much of a plan.
