My son's new toy, 2017 Tundra TRD. Rides like it's on glass, smooth as butter. Really nice rig, I'm a bit jealous!

When does the TRD supercharger and intercooler get installed ??? . I've seen these Tundras touch the mid / high 12's in the 1/4 mile with 600 plus FWHP !!!

It's got plenty of power that's for sure. The dealer sold 2 2017 Tacos in the 6 hours that we were there. Pretty proud of my son and the way he stood firm on his price. The General Manager told him that he couldn't sell the truck for the price my son wanted...my son replied "Sure you can". The look on that guys face was classic, I almost felt sorry for em.

 NO naps for that long!!!

Don't want any part of a supervisory position!!!! Too much stress and it's not good for me :anonymous:

We, at least I, don't include the worker bee's in the "stealership" equation. Don't want your heart to hurt :(

Thoughts and  for a successful surgery and fast recovery.

Love the shop!!! I remember shooting LOTS of rivets. Loved bashing my hand and the bucking bar into whatever was behind the rivets being shot, not!!

    thanks Rob

Not a fan of a heat pump, but when it's all you got, you gotta make due. The developers for the phase 1 and 2 of the subdivision didn't give us any gas to the houses, but the line goes right in front of my house, to the phase 3 in the back  Makes NO freaking sense!!! Don't give me gas, but run it to the back

    evening boys

Well, I don't need a new roof. Guy said I just need 3 replaced and the roof is in decent shape otherwise. He pissed me off, though, when he was walking on my ridge vents, which are PLASTIC and it was just above freezing out

Anyone have a gas powered blower they want to permanently loan me

I would never refer to my service department as thieves. They treat me like gold every time I go in there. I've helped my service writer with his archery gear. The service manager and I joke around all the time. I really enjoy being there it's a great bunch of people. The sales dept. is what gives the rest of the place a bad name. Sales is just an evil necessity. Service is great!

I loved the original service writers @ the dealership.... they quit when new management took over. They never tried to get me to have stuff done that wasn't needed. Most of the good mechanics have gone elsewhere.

I agree with you Chris. I'm guilty of referring to my local dealership as a "stealership". They have always done good work and have treated me well, even though I bought the truck at another dealer that's about an hour away. When I hurt my back I had to have them replace the spark plugs in my truck, they changed them even though I bought the plugs on Amazon. Also they knew about my back problems and charged me less than they quoted me. The service writer, who I have always dealt with, took pity on the old man I guess.

Done. The vinegar has a blue tint to it now that it's done. Hot water pressure is up too. The little filter held backa few grains of sand the plumbers allowed to get in there during installation. Going to do the neighbor's tomorrow since it's about 20 feet away and I'm sure the vinegar is probably good for another round or 2...then I'll dump it.

@Cypherian you like metal work you might like this. this is all hand formed each fender takes about 2 1/2 sheets of sheet metal.

now prepped for filler will take about 6 gallons of which 2/3 will hit the floor

a mobil lounge "people mover" at the airport. we are the only airport that has them. they were designed by the guy that designed the airport in 1962. they are governed by the historical society so i have to construct the fenders as close to how they were originally constructed as i can. not alot of fun with 1 hand though
