    I want to get a tuner but not sure what kind is worth the money. Not supercharged and don't want to do much. I'm at 6,000ft in elevation and want to delete my road speed limiter and be able to get over 2k rpm if I'm trying to go over stuff in the mountains

    I hear speed limiter bypass is not good speaking here...

    More imortant i wanna say i read something about disabling it effected the vvti system and smoked bearings?

    That would be if you did the speed sensor wire switch. That supposedly has an effect on cam bearings. There are only two. Even with my experience, I don't see how that is possible.

    Anyway, for off-highway environments, the UCON from URD is the next best way to increase your speed limiter.

    Swap to a cable throttle body.

    Or any aftermarket standalone ecu which can control throttle by wire.

    For some reason (I know this sounds bad...) when i hold my brake and hit the throttle I can usually burnout when I am home in Idaho. But when I'm in Colorado i cannot and my rpms max out at 2k rpm. This also happened when I went to climb some rocks. I was completely off the brake and I couldn't go over 2krpm which wouldn't let me get my back end up the rocks.
    That UCON is fucking expensive bruh haha hell nah

    Did you have the pedal recall done? If so, pull your ABS fuse. Or do a kill switch.

    Replaced worn rear wheel bearings with aftermarket Timken bearings. No ABS switch needed. :/
