MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.

Ended up with 23 dozen between 25 lbs of beef & 10 lbs of pork. Underestimated how fast we would go through 20lbs, so went and got more (pork was already cooked).

    Check Build thread
So my rear king smooth body decided to come loose at a fitting and leak a bunch of oil out today on the trail. Nothing wrong with the shock itself but does need some more oil in it.

Anyone around the flag area or even a bit out of the way that can help refill with oil in the next week-ish?
(I’ve read the steps and seems kind of complicated, ill be ordering the oil tomorrow)

I used one to record songs from the television speaker off MTV (like "Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots and "Estranged" by Guns n' Roses) on my own mix tapes to listen to while walking to jr. high.

Well, we made it home. This first part of @AlisonsAdventure is over, but there is more to come. My next step is to "simply" figure out where to live, and how to live, but I will continue this effort at least once a month, and hope my daughters continue to contribute as well.

    Overall statistics are:

    7545 Miles
    650 gallons of gas
    132 hours driving time
    33 days
    20 States
    13 ash spreadings
    10 National Parks (NP)
    1 State Park
    1 National Forest (NF)
    1 Ocean

    Arizona - Petrified Forest NP
    Sedona (world of its own)
    New Mexico
    Texas
    Oklahoma
    Arkansas
    Tennessee- Great Smoky Mountains NP

    Virginia - Atlantic Ocean
    Shenandoah NP
    West Virginia
    Pennsylvania
    New York
    Ohio - Cuyahoga NP
    Kentucky - Mammoth Cave NP
    Illinois
    Missouri
    Kansas
    Nebraska
South Dakota - Black Hills NF
    Canyon lands NP
    Wyoming
    Colorado - Rocky Mountain NP
    Utah - Arches NP
    Capitol Reef NP
    Bryce Canyon NP
    Zion NP
    1 day of Rain
    2 days heavy wind
    1 day light snow
    1 day blizzard

    12 hotels for 14 days
4 family visits totaling 14 days
1 beach house for 6 days
Loss of wages (leave of absence)

The dollars involved were significant, but every penny was well spent and the memories, priceless. With all your comments and support, it was incredibly therapeutic. Always looking for the shinning stars, pennies, and moments to write about, kept us focused on the greatness of Alison, rather than the devastation of loss. Sure there were crushing moments, but as a community, we were able to push through and "enjoy" if that's not too strong

Thanks to ALL OF YOU for being there with us and for us. Whether putting us up, putting up with us, laughing/crying with us, or just reading and "liking", you made a difference. As I said, community is everything. Life is not meant to be done alone, and we never were!

I'd also like to thank all the AZ TacomaWorld guys who helped in the final readying of my truck for this huge trek, as well as all the vendors who played a part in #AlisonsAdventure big or small!
