    Morning.
You got a lot of shit dude..lol
Especially the dozen or so fuel cans.
Old compressors just go and go. I have a oil less craftsman. Loud but does the job.
If I ramp up in mine I'll replace that and put a 2 stage and a waste oil burner. I saw online a guy make a nice small one with an old wood stove. But down the road is never clear driving so we will see.

Years of buying, inheriting, being given , auctions, CL, Ebay etc the fuel cans are gas and kero how much fuel do you keep on hand for your generator :} plus lawn equipment I would rather a 30 gallon gas caddy just have not found the right price on one and they are all moving out to a metal cabinet in the shed when it is built. I have to move them when I am cutting steel and it is a PITA lol. The reason for so much fuel is really two fold a few years back 2003 there was a "HUGE" snow storm here lol that being relative since they do not know how to plow nor deal with more then a few inches. Well we got somewhere in the neighbor hood of 20 inches over a 2 day period . The Governor declared a state of emergency and in their infinite wisdom mandated gas stations shut down their pumps to keep people off the road.. I am an essential employee of the state ergo I have to go in if scheduled or called for emergency. Well I was at work the day it started ( predicted 1-3") I had a bit over quarter tank and was going to fill up on the way home, well I got stuck at work as people couldn't get in so the next day while it is still snowing I am finally released I guess 24 hrs working is enough lol . Anyhow I lived 42 miles from work at the time I left and since they do not know how to plow ie 8 to 12 inches on the road with drifts up to about 2 feet and a bit in some places I put my full size chevy in 4x4 and went on . Every station I stopped at between work and 2/3 of the way home (7) had shut off their pumps . My gas light comes on about 12 miles before home thankfully there was a station who had failed to do so I stopped and got fuel breathing a sigh of relief me and the pup would not have been happy walking in that crap. Many years ago here 1994 there was an ice storm that dropped power where I lived for 11 days there were people out longer but a lot of folks ran out of propane as the trucks wouldn't deliver not that I blamed them no way would I drive on 2 inches plus of ice with out the right equipment in essentially a rolling bomb. So I learned my lesson and essentially follow the same rules here as I do in Maine prepare .

This state doesn't have the equipment as they rarely get that big of a hit from snow and ice but when they do lol it shuts this place down hard.

Yeah I hate most of them lol I swap one fill neck off the good one to the others as I use them they all have hi test and fuel stabil in them and get rotated 1 every two weeks goes in my truck and refilled that day. That is nice can though I will most likely end up with https://www.amazon.com/ARKSEN©-Gallon-Portable-Transfer-Storage/dp/B00BM87YFI and 2 of the type you list or these https://www.amazon.com/RotopaX-FX-3...srs=15967199011&ie=UTF8&qid=1480856389&sr=8-1 pricey but have a fast fill rate etc

I like both of those. The roll around caddy seems to be a necessity where you are.
    Brb. need to check feeder.

BTW. our walmart gas station was remodeled recently and when opened I went there for mower gas.
The gas pumps have 3 nozzles at the diesel pumps.
    1 for diesel.
1 for REAL GAS ethanol free.
And on right side of pump are the 3 grades of ethanol gas.

I rotate my fuel every 30 days. I have 10 gal in two cans in case I get stuck. If something big is coming I just fill my blowers and then top off the cans plus another 5. The ice storm years ago was fun as I was without power for 3 days. I had no problems other than inconvenience.

The difference is it isn't a big deal there we keep 10 gallons of Diesel for the tractor 10 for vehicles and 5 for lawn stuff plus a small can for the saws and such. I can not remember being with out power in Maine for more then 2 or 3 days . Phone yeah that might be out for a week but stores were open and roads mostly plowed to passable with out 4x4. Hell they say flurries here and do not expect to get milk or bread etc from the stores they freak out. Not to mention zero common sense lol see a lot of cars with no business on a road covered by several inches of snow trying to drive going every which way but straight lol. We they get here a lot which scares the hell out of me is black ice . Not a store one here sells snow tires and most of the people from here I know just say well it doesn't snow that often so why bother getting them .. But yet they bitch when they can't get to Work or Walmart etc cause their cars won't go anywhere since only the main and secondary roads are plowed and they have enough trouble keeping up with that .

    Maybe tomorrow.
The only thing I need to do is get ready for freeze coming Thursday. Lows in mid 20s. Most stuff down here along with people aren't used to those temps.
