You really want an older FJ like that? Last time I was in NE OR, there was a green one somewhere around Irrigon or Umatilla for sale. I can try to see what the price tag is on it next week if you want.

I'd love an FJ 45! It's not be right now, I have way too much going on. It's very rare to see one for sale though.

 

I should be passing by it on Tuesday in the light, so I'll try to get a pic and phone number.

I understand too much going on. As I look back at the last 6 years of my life, it seems to have been a constant battle of getting things taken care of while still having time for some fun.

Tonga Ridge. 3psi in the tire and only had to lock the rear. Those are 37's on the 1st gen runner in front of me for reference..

It was but it was all powder. Right after I took this he went in the ditch to the right, just hooked his tire. Tried winching him back but didn't work. So I had to go around, drove right through head light deep snow with the front and rear locked and 3psi in the tires. It was awesome. There were a few mini avalanches that came down on my truck too during the winching process..

Ohh shit. How'd that happen?

I can't take all the credit, the road head really was an added bonus thanks to the ex

An absolute last minute decision turned out to be a fantastic one. The pass got 17" of snow last night and I decided to join some friends up Tonga Ridge. Got there at 8am as a bunch of jeeps were unloading off trailers.

We quickly aired down hoping to beat them up to the pow pow but 3 of them passed.. Eventually we caught up to them airing down in the middle of the trail where we couldn't go around.. such an asshole move.

But the snow was so deep, around 5-6ft.

When I thought it was deep..



1st gen 4runner running 37's for reference.. Right after this was taken he went in the ditch on the right. I had to pass him for him to winch off my bumper (my winch just drug him through the ditch). So locked the front and rear and went right through that wall of snow on the left! I was shocked at how well this truck does but also fantastic snow to go in

I had to make a turn around and to show how deep the snow was.. its up past my tail gate.









More will be coming in but it was a blast. Aired down to 3psi no problem, and so happy I got a front locker for the snow!!

 

I'd be screaming PART OUT if I rolled it. Even the skids I bought and haven't even installed yet. thinking about how to proceed from here.

Worried it may leak as it's right at the pinch weld/seam.

 

Go buy the 3m body panel caulking take off the headliner and go to town with it... my turbo civic leaked bad. Caulked it no problem since. I'd I'd try to bend it out some so water doesn't pool up as much...
