So I'm working on a "build thread" app for both mobile and web.. anyone have any features or functionality they think they could use if one were to exist?

A way to separate the bs from the build thread. So for people browsing looking for ideas they can do filters or something. More technical write up style.

The b.s. Is good too because the builder can get ideas from people too. Also for people that are into the entertainment side of it can zone in on that.

Advertising is a builder is sponsored they want to promote stuff. Plus you can make money too. But keep it clean so it doesn't turn into a shit show.

If you can make it better than tapatalk I'll use it. Which isn't hard. Plus don't change the layout with every update. Pisses me off learning new functions.

Also picture management. When I browse stuff from 2006 pics aren't there anymore.

Kind of what MadTaco said, maybe have a comments section off to the side, or every OP post has a comment section for BS

Also maybe an "archive" section so that people can find a specific part of the build at a glance

Probably gonna make a run on the otay truck trail on Sunday if anyone is interested. Leaving from Pio Pico campground to doghouse junction and then pushing east towards the South Bay gun club.

Edit: CB still isn't installed so I'll be running short wave. Or hand signals. :notsure:

Ended earlier today around 3, had a small group hit up a trail that ended around 5. Tough trail, actually: the two 4x4 guys were flexing all over and slipping wheels while my Prerunner powered up like a champ :cool:IMG_6988.jpg

Totally 2wd friendly, it's mainly dirt roads and some washboards but there's some offshoots that are pretty fun while still doable with 2wd

I'll probably go out in the evening around 4 or 5 to test out my new lights since I have yet to use them at night

I grew up in Chula Vista and ran all over with my '47 willys wagon but it is not the same place when you come back 45 years later. The trails I ran on are now call the 805, Suicide Hill is topped with homes and not prickly pear, just want to show the wife what it was like way back then.... Set an alert this time so I won't miss the next outing.

Otay was a good time. Found an abandoned, subie who looks like it was doing some stock mobbing!

It looks like a head on. It was on a blind corner. No dirt in the front so I assume it hit another car.

Watched the sunset from the top of Otay Mountain and also got to test out my light bar since I haven't used it off-road yet.

Also saw that Outback. Same gen as my dad's car which was kinda creepy, too.
