    They are the only company currently making an 8 shot with a less than 4" barrel; just check gun broker and they had some 3" startin around $700

    Gotta pay to play taurus 4" 8 shots are a little under $500 but u didnt want that long barrel. That 617 is gonna be ur best bet. 7 shot 2" barrel under $400

    Now, this is THEIR link - they normally go for less. My father-in-law's service revolver was a 6" version of this (whatever it was 30 years ago) and it still shoots crazy tight groups. Indestructible, accurate, reliable, and heavy as hell. Outstanding gun and fun to shoot.

    But its only a measly 7 shots of one of historically the best 1 shot stopper in handguns... And thats why i carry and extra 12 rounds on me at all times haha

    My cousin in law bought that shortly after i got my taurus 66. Mines a little wider cylinder since its a 7 shot but they have a 686+ thats a 7 shooter and i imagin to be the same size as mine. Taurus and smith used to be owned by the same company and thats why a lot of their guns look very similar

    Well i never put anything in my left read pocket before anyway and these lay flat and take up no room. Also if i ever need fmjs i have 6 ready to go alomg with an additional 6 hp20161017_135557.jpg

    I like my .357. I also like that I can run .38 Specials through it for cheap fun. Of course, my barrel is a bit longer.
