To the OP, maybe you should make your 5 lug a long travel from Total Chaos. You can add some 33s with some fender modification.

everyone here thinks body lifts are crap. personally i ran a 3 inch lift on my 92 isuzu and i jumped it and ran it off in any mud hole i could find.. and it was 2wd.. i never had a problem with them. if you get one then just make sure you trade out all the hardware for grade 8 bolts and put lock tite on everything. and big thick washers on help..

    3" Lift
I've machined like 4 body lifts for a bunch of Ford/Chev guys in the last month. These guys beat the piss out of there trucks (16" lifts"). Simple as hell. Mind you they have to screw with the rad mounts. Either way i dont really see a downside. I think if u read around this forum, u see much more people complaining about suspension lifts then body lifts.

The lift won't affect gearing. If you want bigger tires you may depending on how big. Use the tire size calc to figure out if you want to regear.

I have the Readylift kit to on my 5 lug w/ 31s, and I had the same idea in mind. I was think of getting about a 3" body lift so I could stuff some 33s under there along with a regear to 4.56. Let me know if you find any good deals on a body lift..Thanks

ready lift and total chaos are pretty much your only options.

ready lift is cheaper, but you will also want to swap out the shocks and struts so it doesn't feel like you are bottoming out with every bump you hit.

I know everybody hates them, but wouldnt a body lift for a 4wd work just the same for a 2wd?
