hmm.. cutting off those rear shockmounts is a lot more difficult that i anticipated.

how much in consumables did you guys use?

I only have two 4-1/2" grinders and barely took off the driver side lower mount. the passenger side upper mount is turning out to be a beast to even cut off.

 

Promise I won't take the design and perfect it!

 

You won't need to, you have kings...that work as advertised...out of the box.

 

They installed icon bumps. Not a shock relocate

 

In an unfortunate development for us Icon apologists, the bumps wouldn't slip into their mounts even after Chris applied liberal amounts of lube as he so often does. We needed to open the hole to insert the shaft. So we bolted the mount to a piece of unistrut with a spacer in the middle to bend it open slightly and Chris slipped it right in.
Wow. I just read this back. I swear it wasn't how it sounds.
