I made an attempt but put the brakes on it when I saw that the HL housing was coating in rust coating...a thick grease application. I figured that would stink up the house if put in the oven. I am still looking at options for some BHLs.

    He sold that truck afaik.

But if you look through his posts you may find one explaining the hood. I think he got an aftermarket scoop and had it professionally installed and painted.

Do you know of any websites where I can find a sport scooped hood? I want to get the hood, mirrors and rear bumper to match the entire body. Ohh and we got the same trucks!! :)

No idea. The scoop is too much trouble for me and I like the black trim. You're gonna have paint to color match the mirrors and bumper I don't think there were sport editions in DSM.

I know for a fact that there was never a DSM sport edition so I want to be the first person to have it. (unless someone has it already)

Uh as far as i know you may end up being the first if you get the hood/bumper,door handles color-matched.

I personally like the black door handles

    Everything else i would colormatch

What was your front suspension set up at the time if this pictures? How much lift was there? Thanks!

Running all pro pro lift. Full leaf packs in the rear and bilsteins 6112 with 700lb coils in the front with max preload. Because of the heavy arb bumper.

Thanks, looks so good....so you have the 6112's set on the 5th notch? From your other posts I thought it was only the 4th.

It looks lower than this pic of your truck....

Thanks, I believe the 5th notch. They came preloaded like that. I had to get heavier springs to help with the 200lb+ weight that I added up front.

    Looking for wheel suggestions.

I too am trying to decide on new wheels but in the interim I just painted my steelies. Just something to consider to get you by and not have to look at those drab gray stock wheels.
